Under the Stars - (Poly!Lercy xgn!reader)

"I need to pee."

"I told you not to drink all that at once," You roll your eyes, sinking further on the backseat. "I'm sure there must be a gas station somewhere?"

"We can always stop the car so you can pee on the bushes?" Percy offers.

"I can always pee in the car," Leo retorts tauntingly.

"Don't even joke about that," You gawk. "Are we animals? Cross your legs and wait for the next station!"

"Ah, look!" Percy says happily, he points to his left. "I just found one!"

He drives to the gas station, Leo practically jumps out of the car without even waiting for Percy to fully step on the brakes. You both yell at him to be more careful, then once he's out of sight, Percy asks you if you'd like to go inside the store and buy some snacks.

When you asked for a roadtrip as a birthday present you didn't think they would actually agree to it, demigods move around the country all the time when they go on quests, you were expecting them to brush you off saying it was too dangerous, but so far the trip has been extremely peacefull and quiet, perhaps it has to do with the whole week you spent giving part of your food to Hermes during every meal and asking him for a safe travel with your boyfriends.

Insider the store Percy puts bag after bag on your arms, he keeps saying how 'Oh! You should try this, this is really good!' and when you wonder aloud how is he going to pay for all this, he looks at you with a sly smirk.

"Dad's paying."

He shows you an olympus credit card, you don't even bother asking if he's actually allowed to use it, he probably is... right?

"Alright, you privileged shit," You joke, placing all the items in front of the cashier and looking out the window. "Leo's already waiting for us in the car, you have the keys with you, right?"

"You think I would trust him with my car?" He raises a brow, showing you the keys on his pocket. "I love him, but he's annoying as hell when he drives."

"You just don't like it when he tells you the car speaks to him," You snicker.

"Because it's bullshit," He scowls.

"Are you sure?"

Percy groans and focuses on paying for your food, you chuckle and kiss his cheek before grabbing the bags and guiding him back out to your vehicle.

"How are you feeling?" You ask Leo teasingly. "Blader all rested and free?"

"And ready to be filled again," He winks at you, pulling closer by the waist and stealing one of the bottles from the bag you're carrying.

"Next time I won't stop at a station," Percy warns him. "You better take your damn time with that coke."

"Funny you say that, the other night you were asking me to hurry up and—"

"Can we not have this kind of conversations in public?" You interrupt, looking over your shoulder at the family that had just parked their car next to yours.

Percy's sleeping soundly in the backseat after arguing for half an hour about how he ought to take a break, now Leo's the one driving, he's holding your hand while the other is lazily moving the wheel. You're looking out the window with a dreamy expression, Leo glances at you from time to time and grins.

"You enjoying your birthday?"

"Oh, yes," You lift his hand and kiss it sweetly. "Thank you for this, it'd been a long time since I had gone out for so long without any inconvenience."

"Maybe it'd be better if we don't say those kinds of things out loud."

"I think it's alright," You shrug. "I asked the Gods for a safe trip, I want to think they'll listen at least this one time."

"We're almost there," Leo replies, refering to your destination. "I'm exhausted..."

"Told you I could drive—"

"It's your birthday, you won't be moving a finger, not when you're two strong boyfriends are here to help."

You shake your head with a silly grin. "Okay then, have it your way..."

The night is just as pretty as the ones you see at camp, but the privacy of this moment is what makes it truly special. Leo lit up a cozy campfire as soon as the sun started to go down, Percy focused on getting the s'mores ready, and all you had to do was to wrap yourself in a fuzzy blanket and participate in the talk.

"We should do this every year," Percy sighs happily, leaning his head on your left shoulder. "I could get used to this life, you know?"

"Too quiet for me," Leo scrunches up his nose, "but I wouldn't say no to yearly roadtrips with two cuties."

Percy and you snort at his comment, Leo sits on right and pulls the blanket so you share it with him.

"Hey, make room!" Percy pouts, hugging you tightly against him.

You and Leo find a way to fit everyone in the blanket and cuddle together, the rest of the night is spent in hearthful laughter and tasty snacks, it's almost like a dream.

You don't wanna fall asleep cause then the night will be over, but you're the only one who didn't take a nap at all during the whole way there, and the boys can clearly tell that you're slowly growing tired.

"Time for bed," Percy gets up before you can argue against him, he pulls you to your feet and you sway a little, Leo stands up behind you and starts to put down the campfire.

The sky looks absolutely breathtaking now that there are no lights around you, Percy's gaze follow yours and for a second it's only the three of you standing in silence, something that doesn't usually happen when you're left alone.

"Should we make a wish?" Leo asks quietly beside you.

Percy snorts. "Why?"

"Dunno... feels like we should."

It doesn't make sense, and yet you understand exactly what he means.

"If you want to you can make one," You reply.

Leo looks down at you two and smiles brightly. "To be honest I already got my wish the moment you two decided to date me."

"Aww..."

"That is so cheesy."

"Y/N!"

"What? I'm just saying he could ask for a new car! Yours is falling to pieces."

"You're a cruel person."

"Alright, how about this?" Leo interrupts with amusement. "I wish... to spend the rest of my life with you two—and a mansion near the beach."

Percy and you share a look, then you nod in agreement.

"That sounds great, yeah."

"Can't wait to get that mansion."
