Chapter 8

"NOPE, lemme go see who it is myself" Jieun grabs her cardigan, wrapping her body up. She looks through the peephole on the door. Weird. All black.

Jieun lets the door chain locked, opening the door slightly giving room to look outside. She gets surprised seeing V grins mischievously. Quickly unlocking the door chain and steps outside.

"What the heck are you doing here?"

"Nayeon's number"

"Find it yourself !"

"Does she have a boyfriend?"

"Actually yes so don't even bother to get in her pants"

"Tch, only boyfriend" V smirks.

"Do you really want a piece of me right now?"

"I just want nayeon's number. You're just distracting me by extending this conversation. It'd just be a second if you could just give me the number, I'll get outta here. Pretty sure you didn't plan to see my handsome face tonight"

"You know what? Neverrrrr!!" Jieun was going back inside until V manages to block her way.

"I always get what I want"

Jieun grins.

"Then prove it" dared her.

"Fine!" V glares at jieun and walks away. I'm not scared with your intimidating glares mister. Mutters jieun under her breath.

"Who was it?" Asked Nayeon.

"Neighbour"

"What.. did he want at the middle of the night?"

"Borrow a screwdriver. I don't have any"

"Uhh.. i just saw it on your fridge" Nayeon gets up from the couch.

"Ah, no no worries. He's- he has already left" Jieun makes her way to her bedroom. Couple minutes later, she comes back out.

"Nayeon, have you privated your instagram account?" Asks Jieun out of sudden.

Nayeon shakes her head.

"You better do that now"

"And why is that? You don't put yours in private either" Nayeon looks at her, strange.

"Haven't you heard?? Nowadays, people can secretly save our pics and edit inappropriately then spread all over the world. Do you want that to happen to you??"

Nayeon takes a long pause.

"That was while ago"

"Precaution babee. People might save your pics, I mean.. you're an instafamous after all" says Jieun scaring her.

Nayeon furrows her eyebrows, grabbing her phone. She opens settings and automatically changes her account to private mode. Glad that she's naive and easy. Just a little still.

THE clock's ticking almost past 10. It's been a week since Jieun last met Taehyung. There have been several times that he tried to contact her but she never answered.

She knows what the guy wants. Jieun huffs in the car.

"Why are you sighing like that?" Nayeon pulls the seatbelt, putting it on. Jieun switches her phone on airplane mode so no one can contact her.

"Aren't you going to answer that call?" The endless sound of her ringtone before switching to airplane mode somewhat risen some curiosity of Nayeon.
