Hey Hey Hey!!
Just a little reminder:
Y/N means Your Name
F/N means First Name
L/N means Last Name
H/C means Hair Color
E/C means Eye Color
S/C means Skin Color
and etc.
( I tried to make Y/N very neutral and unspecific when it comes to her looks so everyone can feel comfortable. <3 )
Also, this chapter mentions a family member's death (Y/N's grandmother), so I'm just letting you know in case that could trigger you.
Okay, this is the last thing I have to mention before we get into this trainwreck of a story; the italicized sentences are your thoughts.

(Y/N's POV)
My alarm went off at 6:30 AM sharply, which caused me to wake from my horrid nightmare. Oh my god. Even though it was absolutely crazy, it seemed so real, I thought. Once again, I had a restless night full of nightmares. They were recurring more than ever.
The one I remember was kind of confusing. In this nightmare, I just came home from school. I had set my backpack down by the stairwell and ran upstairs. My grandmother was sitting on my bed in my room. She was having a long conversation with the wall. I couldn't really remember much of it, but I did remember her saying goodbye and vanishing into thin air. She only left an empty casket behind.
My pillow was wet from tears, so I must have been crying. Ever since her passing, I hadn't been the same, and my parents noticed that. It really took a toll on me since we were so close. We had the same personality; we were both dorky, awkward, shy, and though I didn't like to admit it, short-tempered.
I let go of those thoughts and turned towards my clock. Ugh, I have to hurry, I thought. Today was the first day of my second year at Aoba Johsai. I was a little worried, but I didn't have time to think about that right now. I stood up from my bed and walked over to my bathroom mirror. Holy crap, I forgot to remove my makeup last night. My mascara was smeared all over my under eyes, which were a darker shade of purple than usual from my lack of sleep. It's the first day and I'm already having troubles? This is going to be one long year. I quickly scrubbed my face, put on some moisturizer, and headed over to my closet to change into my uniform.
Once I had all my things prepared and ready to go, I sat down to put on some makeup. I brushed on the slightest bit of dark eyeshadow in a way that looked like eyeliner and applied some mascara. I didn't bother with concealer since I kind of liked the look of under eye circles anyway. I blotted on some tinted chapstick and grabbed my backpack with a granola bar for breakfast. I left a little late, but it was really no big deal. I just jogged the way there. My parents left for work early each morning so I didn't really get to see them before school, not that I cared anyway.
Soon I arrived at school. I walked through the gates, trying to seem as calm and collected as possible, though I really wasn't on the inside. Since I had anxiety, times like this were not fun for me. I tried to keep my head held higher as I entered the building, where I was met by a teacher. Great.
"Hello there. You must be L/N F/N?" I nodded. "You're gonna make a left, then walk up the staircase. Your homeroom is going to be on the right." he finished.
Well, that was a little weird. I wonder why they gave me directions? I know where I'm going. Wait, did I look lost? Oh god, I hope I didn-
I was soon interrupted by someone slamming into me. I let out a small, embarrassing yelp and looked up to see exactly who I stumbled into. Ugh, why did I not pay attention to where I was going? My E/C orbs were met by the most breathtaking honey-colored eyes I had ever seen. I looked around to see his facial features and oh. my. god. He looked so pissed, but at the same time, kind of... hot. I probably stared a little longer than I should have, but I couldn't help it. He had a slight tan and a bleached buzzcut. He bore two dark brown stripes going horizontally across the back of his head. I noticed he also had dark eye bags like me. But his eyes captured me the most. Though the rest of his face looked irked, his eyes still had a certain softness to them. I liked that. No, I loved that. I must've gotten a little too carried away. I mean, I could've gone on and on about his features but the loud grunt he let out shook me from my thoughts.
"Ahh, I'm s-so sorry about that!" I stuttered. He returned a low "Hmph" and turned around to make his way to class.
Wait, am I imagining things, or was he blushing? I could've sworn I saw a tint of pink. No, I am definitely imagining things. Even if he was blushing, it was probably just because I embarrassed him.
Well, this is awkward. We were both walking in the same direction, so I assumed we had the same homeroom. It probably seemed like I was following him. Really? As if things couldn't get any more embarrassing. Way to go, Y/N. You made a great first impression on him.
