Chapter 6

The next day Zac was called to go back up to Fu's palace so he called in sick. When Adrien was dropped off infront of the school gates he saw Marinette jogging down the street. But as she saw him her face went from worried to emotionless."Hey Marinette I'm sorry for whatever I did but will you please talk to me?" He begged. The voice inside her head was screaming at her to tell him what was happening but the potion silenced her. She continued walking ino the school without so much as a glance in Adrien's direction. It was torture for him to see her look at him like it was nothing. 

When Adrien got home he went on his computer to research what could make her act like this. He knew it wasn't her being mad at him since he had done nothing to upset her. He had found nothing and was about to give up when he came across a website about an ancient love potion. It said that once a person drinks it they will fall asleep and the first person they see after waking up they will fall in love with. Then the person will have to do whatever their "lover" tells them to do. He then thought back to when he heard Zac telling Marinette to stay away from him. When he scrolled tp the bottom of the page he saw the cure for it. True loves kiss. 

When Marinette got home she immediately ran to her room and started on a new design. Then she suddenly remembered the earrings from the museum. She walked over to her jewellery box and pulled them out. She put them on and memories came flooding back to her and all traces of the love potion had vanished. All of her emotions came back to her and her first thought was Adrien. Instantly she grabbed her bag and raced to his house. Once she got there she rang the doorbell multiple times before someone finally answered. "Hello and who are you?" A womans voice asked. "Hi I'm Marinette Adrien's friend from school, I really need to see him like right now." "Okay but only for 10 minutes." She answered. The gates opened and she ran in. A woman with dark hair answered the door and told her where his room was. She raced up the stairs and banged on the door until a certain blonde opened the door. "M...Marinette what are you doing here?" He asked. "I am so sorry for the past couple of days I don't know what happened." She answered. "I think I know why you were acting like that," He said walking over to his desk and gesturing for her to follow, "I was searching what might've been wrong with ou because I knew you would never ignore me and I found this." She turned her glance to the screen and saw the love potion. They spent the rest of the night researching it and found out there were 2 magical jewels that could temporarily stop the potion as long as the drinker wore them. When they found a picture of them Marinette recognised one of the jewels as her earrings and Adrien recognised the other as his ring. "I think I have one of them." They both said. Marinette pushed her hair back and showed off her earrings while Adrien reached into his drawer and pulled out the ring and slid it on his finger for saftery measures. They just had to figure out who Marinettes true love was, secretly they both hoped it was Adrien. 

That night fixed his heart and made him happy again...
