Prologue

Louis' POV

It's sad when everything you want is something you know you'll never get.

It's heartbreaking when the one person you love more than anything in the world is unreachable.

It's terrifying when you feel like nothing is ever on your side.

The feeling of utter dissapointment when no matter how hard you try, it never works out.

It's horrible.

But for him, it's all worth it...

Yeah, I said him.

I know.

And I meant it.

I am in love with my best friend and bandmate, Harry Edward Styles.

And it's killing me that I can't ever tell him.

It's killing me that he'll never know.

And most of all...

It's so tragic that no matter how hard I try, me and him can never be together.

It just isn't right.

It isn't something that people just accept.

But despite this, I promise that I will always love him, no matter what.

These past few days, I've been feeling a bit awkward.

My crush on Louis has gotten out of control.

I can't even look at him now without biting my lip or getting seriously turned on.

I don't know what's wrong with me.

It all started after we left X Factor.

We moved in together, and ever since, I just can't look at him the same way.

His touches make me go crazy.

His voice is angelic.

He's amazing.

Me and Lou had always been close.

But all that closeness has left me wanting more...

So, so much more.

I love him too much for my own good.

It's unfortunate, really.

Because I know, no matter how much I love him, he'll never love me back...
