Chapter 2- Shinning Bright

"Tangina wag kang masiyadong mabait" Kisha scolded at me while we're paying for our grocery.

"kaya ka maisyaodng inaabuso eh" Aya said.

"Oo tapos pinag grocery mo pa." I sighed. "It just pains my heart" I told them and  get the paper bag which contains the egg and the flour.

"Anong balak mo bukas?" she asked me while we're on our way to the parking lot.

"I don't know. I didn't even thanked the guy who saved me earlier" I sighed again.

"Sayang wala ako, lawyer ba siya?" Aya asked.

"parang hindi eh" I shrugged before we part ways and went back to my condo...

I lay down in my bed, it's still a bit early so I reviewed my notes  and think what should I cook for next week. It must be that seafood.

I was thinking of crabs, my block mates might cooked fish or shrimps since that is the most common one.

I did some research, I think sweet and spicy crabs is good? or its good with shrimps. But I'm going to try the sweet and spicy crabs since I never tried it before. I wanted to try something new. This is what I'll live for. I'll continue to grow, and experience more.

I believe there is always a room for improvement, just keep on going.

"Ms. Quitain!" sigaw ni chef kaya agad akong napa tingin sakaniya at hininaan ang apoy.

"Y-yes chef?" nauutal kong sabi at tumingin sakaniya, ramdam ko rin ang tingin ng iba kong ka block samin.

"What are you cooking?" I sighed in relief akala ko naman kung ano.

"Sweet chili crab po" I tried to smile at him because any time now, i think he's going to lash me out.

"Crab?" sabi nito at umiling iling at pinagpapatuloy ang pag iikot

While I was cooking I poured all my heart. That's my secret recipe. Every food I cook, always put my heart on it.

After an hour of cooking we put on the serving plate our dish and let the experts taste it. Our grades here will depend in them.

"Sana maka uno" nanalingin na ang mga kasama ko.

"Hindi ka man lang ba kinakabahan?" kisha whispered while the chefs are now tasting my dish.

"Kinakabahan" I slowly said and gulped while looking at them as they ate my dish.  Napatigil pa si Chef alvarez at tumingin sakin. Agad naman akong umungo.

It's not about I'm not confident with my dish, but its about how they'll judge me.

I've been straight part of a dean's lister. I don't think I'll make it this time- I'm hoping I'll still be a part of dl.

While chef is already holding our scores instead of announcing it he told us to go back to our classroom and prepare for the next class.

"Saan ka?" aya asked, because we have no more class for today.

"My high school squad invited me to go to a club" I shrugged which made their jaw drop

"Don't act innocent, aya!" I shouted because she's been giving me looks.

"Duh, as if its your fist time to hear me saying I'll be going to a club" I gave a short chuckled and started the engine.

As I arrived at my condo I went to the bathroom and took suck in the bath tub. Marami pa naman kasi akong oras  kaya may oras pa ako para mag tub.

After almost for two hours of staying in the bathroom, I wore a bath robe and seat in the chair. I dried my hair a little first before applying make up.
