Chapter 19-Emulsion

I looked at the person who sat at other edge of the long chair I'm seating at.  I can't see his face properly because of the dim night.

I almost did not recognize him because of his features. Yes he was handsome, but now he was more attractive. 

"How have you been?" he asked while we're looking at the view. We could see how beautiful the city lights. 

"I've been, great. I think?" I said and chuckled a bit. 

"What an obvious question" he said and looked at the nigh sky that's full of stars. 

"Ikaw? how have you been?" I asked and looked at him, while he's looking at the sky with his glint eyes. 

The light here was too dim, papalitan ko nga bukas. 

"I mean, how is the court" I added

"I've been planning to set my own law firm. But I think it would be too hassle" he shrugged then looked at me. Doon lang ako napahiya, kaya agad akong tumingin kung saan. 

"Why not? I mean having your own business is quite good" I told him and gave her a shy smile. 

"I'm not really a business minded person" and there was silence around us. Kung ano ang ikina- ingay sa loob ganoon ka-tahimik dito. 

He cleared his throat "What were you doing here?" he asked. 

"I'm taking a rest, masiyado akong napagod" I told him. 

"Do you like some coffee?" he asked, which made my brows furrowed. 

"So-" he was about to apologized when I nod my head.  

We went back inside and saw how many my customers are at the first day! I see different people...

I followed him until we reached outside. "Did you bring your car with you?" I asked, as he shook his head "I went with my friend" which means we'll be taking my car. 

I turned on the music so it won't be really awkward for us to bear with the silent. 

"Which coffee shop are we going?" I asked 

"Whichever you prefer." maikli niyang sabi kaya sa I went to the 'La Lumber Cafe' it was one of my cafe. 

While I'm driving he's busy reading something, it's probably case. That's one thing he didn't change.  He is always like this. 

The heck why am I even noticing every single thing?

We went inside and I gestured the staff not to greet me. I don't want to brag infront of him. 

I ordered a latte and a piece of cake, as per Aidan he ordered cappuccino and a bread. While waiting for our order the music was around us.

"Did you drink?" he asked while we're waiting for our order. 

"A little" I told him and used my fingers how little I drunk. 

"I have a high tolerance" I sounded like I was proud of it. 

"It's okay, I didn't drink" he assured me like, it's okay for me to get drunk.  

"besides I can't be drink." I shrugged and our ordered arrived. 

"How are you? I heard nag top 1 ka daw sa bar. Wait  may tawag doon" I said as I tilted my hear, I was trying to remember what the term for that. 

"Topnotcher" He said which made my voice a little loud "Yes! that's the word" I could feel the gaze of the people in here. 

I regret why I choose my own cafe. Andami dami namang cafe sa pilipinas.
