3 Weeks Later….

“ Can I see this ? “ Raghav asked the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper took it out and showed the design to Raghav, Raghav smiled at it when he thought of Kalpi wearing it,“ I’ll take it “ Raghav said handing it back, the shopkeeper smiled and nodded, he carefully packed it and handed the bag to Raghav “ thank you sir “ the shopkeeper said, Raghav smiled and headed out of the shop. Raghav got home and found Vittal in the hall reading, he closed the door and walked up to him “ uncle I need to talk to you “ Raghav said, “ of course beta..what is it ? “ Vittal asked. Raghav sat down opposite him and thought for a while “ is something wrong ? “ Vittal asked worriedly, Raghav looked at him and shook his head, “ I would like your permission for Kalpi’s hand in marriage “ Raghav said, Vittal smiled and got up and stood in front of Raghav “ you did not have to ask permission beta …my blessings are always with you “ Vittal said and patted Raghav’s shoulder in a fatherly manner, Raghav got up and smiled “ thank you uncle “ Raghav smiled and bent down and touched his feet “ bless you always Raghav…I could not be happier for both of you “ Vittal smiled and gave Raghav a bear hug.

Kalpi was in their bedroom folding clothes when Raghav walked in, Kalpi smiled, “ hey…” Kalpi said as she stacked the clothes and put them in the cupboard, “ hey yourself “ Raghav smiled and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, “ are you free tonight ? “ Raghav asked, Kalpi nodded “ is there anything ? “ Kalpi asked, “ I thought of having dinner together…just you and me “ Raghav said feeling nervous, Kalpi smiled and nodded “ I’ll like that “ she said and closed the cupboard, “ great…” Raghav smiled.

That night Kalpi was getting ready for dinner when Vittal came in, “ Kalpi beti “ Vittal smiled, “ yes baba “ Kalpi smiled as she put on her earrings, “  Raghav is waiting “ Vittal smiled, “ really ? “ Kalpi asked as she put on her shoes in a hurry “careful beti, don’t trip “ Vittal chuckled, Kalpi smiled and kissed Vittal and headed out. Raghav was waiting in the hall when Kalpi descended from the stairs, “ hey…” Kalpi whispered, “ hey yourself…shall we ? “ Raghav said as he ushered Kalpi to the car. “ so where are we going ? “ Kalpi asked in the car, “ it’s a surprise “ Raghav smiled back. 10 minutes later they were in front of a park, Kalpi got down and looked around, “ come “ Raghav said as he wrapped his arm around her waist and ushered her to a secluded area, “ surprise “ Raghav said, “ oh my god, it’s beautiful “ Kalpi said as she looked at a picnic that has been set up, they sat down beside each other “ I know this is not some fancy restaurant “ Raghav said, “ I like it….it’s sweet “ Kalpi smiled, Raghav looked at her and smiled back and brought out some sandwiches that have already been pre-packed form earlier, “ so you bought these or made ? “ Kalpi teased and she took a bite of her sandwich, Raghav chuckled and looked down “ bought it is  “ Kalpi giggled, “ guilty “ Raghav said and bit his sandwich. They talked and laughed all through out. 

After dinner they laid back onto a tree and looked up at the sky “ not much stars today “ Kalpi said sadly, “ not true…..there is one here “ Raghav said looking at her, “ really ? “ Kalpi asked, “ yes…you “ Raghav said and kissed her, “ your my tara “ Raghav said, Kalpi giggled “ since when did the great Raghav Singhania become so cheesy ? “ Kalpi asked , “ the day he married you “ Raghav smiled, “ Kalpi I have something to ask you “ Raghav said, “ what is it ? “ Kalpi asked as she looked at him, Raghav took a deep breath “ will you marry me………again ? “ Raghav asked as he showed her the ring, Kalpi looked at it and then at him and smiled “ yes….I will marry you…again “ Kalpi teased and kissed him, Raghav moved and deepened the kiss “ naa uhhhh…shaadi ki baat “ Kalpi said shyly, Raghav placed his head on her shoulder “ you are gonna be the death of me Kalpana Vittal Jadhav Singhania “ Raghav said, Kalpi chuckled and kissed his cheek, “ that’s good to know “ Kalpi whispered.
