The next day was school again, but we didn't have to do any lessons. It was more a 'free' day, with your friends.

'Cass!' it was the same voice from the other day, it was Luke.

'Luke! how are you?' I thought it was about time to stop turning him down and just talk. Luke looked at me and smiled.

'Great, how about you?' I rubbed my arm and looked at the floor. I looked back up at Luke and started to explain.

'My sister came home lastnight, I haven't seen her in 4 years and she wanted to bond again. I technically told her to get out of my life... My dad has gone to Perth for his work and won't be back until tomorrow. I was the only one at home, until my sister decided to come back' before I knew it, Luke reached in for hug.

'want a hug?' I looked at Luke and accepted it, we hugged for around 5 seconds. Yes, I counted.

'Thank you Luke, it means so much to me. Here, you can have my number now' I passed him my phone and let him copy it into his phone.

'I'm always here for you Cass, I'm just a call or text away' he rubbed my arm and walked off back to his friends. Okay, I admit. I'm slowly falling for him, he's just so sweet and amazing.

I turn around and walk off, behind me I see Ashley on her phone.

'Ashley guess what?' I said with a big smile.

'What, what's happened?' she puts her phone in her pocket and frowns.

'Well, I told Luke about Gabby and dad and he hugged me. He said he's always here for me, I think I'm falling for him'

Ashley grabbed my shoulders and smiled.

'I'm happy for you Cass' she gave me a big hug and continued to walk away.

'Wait, Ashley?' Ashley stopped and walked back towards me.

'Yeah, what?' she looked at me checking the time on her phone.

'Nah, forget it' I hugged her and walked off.

Nothings going right lately.. First, my dad goes to Perth with his work. Then my sister who I haven't seen in 4 years decides to come back home. Now, Ashley isn't really talking to me anymore. All I have is Luke, and my cousin who goes here. But I don't really talk to her, I guess I have to soon eh.

I decided to walk home instead of catching the train today, I feel someone touching my arm so I look to my left. It's Luke!

'Luke, you scared me' I hit him on the arm playfully.

'Sorry Cass, I have something to ask you..' Luke stopped me and rubbed his neck.

'Do you uh, want to come over and meet my brothers and maybe stay for dinner?' Luke smiled which made everything feel better.

'Sure, thank you' I continued to walk the same direction as Luke.

After walking for another 5 minutes we finally get to his house, he walks inside and I follow behind him.

'Beau, Jai, Mum. This is Cass, she started at Penola a few weeks ago and she's a good friend of mine'

..wait, Luke called me a good friend of his. I let out a big smile.

'Hello, nice to meet you. So um, you're twins right?'

Jai stood up and smiled. 'yeah, unfortunately' Luke gave him a friendly push on the shoulder and let out a giggle.

Oh my god, his laugh is amazing. Everything about Luke is amazing, no snap out of it Cass he's your friend.

'I'm going to get dinner started, Luke don't do anything to hurt Cass' Gina walked into the kitchen and decided what to have for dinner.

'Of course not' Luke grabbed me and hugged me tightly. He smelt actually so good, I didn't want him to let go.

I took a seat on the couch and took out my phone.

'C'mon, surely it's not that boring here right?' Beau said to me.

'No, surely not. I just haven't been on twitter all day' I put my phone down and look at Beau.

'You're just like Luke, never ever off his phone or laptop'

Beau said I'm like Luke, so we already have something in common!
