It was around 9:30am when Luke woke me up telling me they have to go to a meeting.
'Yeah no worries, I'll go home and see what's happening' Luke grabbed my hands and locked his fingers in with mine.
'if anything happens, ring me straight away. Be safe' Luke kissed me on the lips and walked out of the bedroom.
They had left for the meeting, and I saw Gina watching t.v
'I'm going to see what's happening at my house, thank you for letting me stay lastnight Gina' Gina got up and gave me a hug.
'I hope you'll be okay Cass, you know you're the best thing that's happened to Luke in ages?' I smiled and nodded acting as if Luke has already told me.
I finally got home and knocked on the front door, my sister Gabby opened.
'mum isn't home, she left lastnight and I don't know where she went' I forced myself into the house pushing past Gabby and ran upstairs to my bedroom and let out a cry. Next thing I heard a yell from downstairs.
I walked downstairts to suss it out, because I thought Gabby hurt herself. But nope, it was mum. She started hitting Gabby on the arm then the legs yelling at her asking why she left her family for a boy. Then she spotted me at the bottom of the staircase, she slowly walked up to me and got in my face.
'Cass, where were you lastnight huh? Can't come home for ONE night? I'm disappointed in my daughters' next minute I know I'm on the floor and mum is on top of me hitting me on my face and shoulders. I think I blacked out for a few minutes, because I woke up and my whole arm was full of blood and my legs were all bruised.
I managed to get up, I walked around the house and no one was to be seen. I grabbed my phone and rang Luke immediately.
'Luke, come get me now. Mum abused me, I'm in so much pain I can't live here anymore' Luke replied and said he'll be there as soon as possible, they were just having a basketball match.
I walked upstairs and found the biggest bag I could find, I packed all my stuff in it. Only leaving my bed and wardrobe in my bedroom.
I then heard a severe loud knock at my door, it was Luke. I walked downstairs and opened the door in pain, when I saw him I flopped to the floor crying so hard.
'my mum was never like this, she'd never put her children in pain. dad cheated on her, she's taken it out on us' Luke picked me up and took me to the car, Jai ran inside and grabbed my bag.
