I walked myself to McDonalds which was only a 5 minute walk from Luke's house, I didn't want anyone to see any scars or bruises so I wore a jumper, even though it was 27 degrees outside.
I finally arrived at McDonalds and saw Ashley sitting at a table, I called out her name and she jumped up and gave me the biggest hug ever.
'Cass, are you okay?' she asked me holding onto my shoulders. 'I'm fine now, Luke has looked after me' Ashley let go of my shoulders and walked back to the table and I followed her.
'So, what happened exactly?' she asked.
'Well, I was eating dinner at Luke's with his family and Gabby rang me. She said stay at Luke's, it's best I don't come home because mum is hitting her. Then the next day Luke and his brothers had a meeting and I went home, then I heard yelling downstairs so I went to suss it out and mum was hitting Gabby.. Then she saw me, sat on me and started hitting me on my head and chest. I blacked out, I rang Luke and he picked me up. I fell to the floor crying, next thing I know I'm in Luke's bed..' I started getting teary so Ashley sat next to me and gave me a hug.
'Cass, I can't believe your mum did this to you. She is nothing like this, what so ever. You're my best friend Cass, I'll never ever leave your side okay? I wish you told me earlier, mum would of been there in a heartbeat' I looked at Ashley and saw that she was nearly crying, I hugged her again and this time we hugged for about a minute crying to eachother. I'm so blessed to have a beautiful wonderful best friend, and an amazing sweet boyfriend.
'Ashley, do you want to meet Luke and his family?' Ashley got up and pushed her chair in. 'Well what are you waiting for?' I got up and we walked out of the doors.
We got to Luke's and Jai answered the door, he took a glance at Ashley and said hello to her. Then let us inside, 'Luke Cass is here with a friend' Luke came running down the hallway and picked me up and span me around. 'Luke this is Ashley, she's been my best friend since birth. She moved with us to Melbourne because we didn't want to be apart'
Luke then gave Ashley a hug and told Jai to show her around whilst Luke talks to me.
'Were you okay?' Luke grabbed my hands hoping for a positive answer. 'Yes I was fine, I saw Ashley and we spoke and then just came here. Nothing happened' I then rested my forehead against Luke's, we looked eachother in the eye and then immediately locked lips.
