This is a filler chapter where Y/N's past is introduced!

"Ya," Jin sits down on the bench after a day of running. "How much did you get?"

I put up two bills, "Is this enough?"

Jin smiles widely and he jumps off from his seat, "More than enough! Why are you so good at this?"

"I don't know." I sat down on the same bench, also exhausted. "Maybe it's a talent."

For sure, running away and getting two 50,000 won bills from a man's wallet at a restaurant is a skill for a 7 year old.

"With this, we can pay Mr. Seo so that we can live longer in the apartment." Jin smiles. "Thank you so much, Y/N." he comes down to ruffle my hair.

He held my hand as we went to the convenience store to get food. "Can we have the kimbap today?", I ask.

"Sure!" He gets the kimbap and some other food from the store. He asked if I wanted something else as he paid for the food.

"Let's go, Seokjin oppa!" I say as we leave the store and walk to the apartment.

It was a few blocks away from there and it was a basement apartment. I opened the lights as Jin went in.

"Wh-" There was someone sitting on the chair of the dining table. "Mr. Seo?"

"I'm sorry," the man removes his hat as he reveals his face. "I'm not Mr. Seo. I'm Ishiwara Manjiro."

"H-hello, Sir." Jin pulled me closer to him as he senses danger from the man.

"You two, come sit down!" The man warmly said as he stood up and pointed at the chairs. "It's your home anyways, I'm also sorry for breaking in."

"Ah," Jin let me sit down first and he sat down slowly. He placed the stuff we bought on his side and kept the table clear.

"These," The man puts two opened files with pictures on it. It was Jin in his younger days, stealing money from a gas station and me, stealing the whole paycheck of a ramen shop. "These are you two, right?"

"Y-yeah." I answer, still boggled about this man's goal.

"I came here to offer something." He says, sitting back on his chair. "I have a strong alliance. One that can control Japan's underworld. I want you in, as my children."

"Children?" Jin asks, boggled by the man, but interested in his offer.

"Yeah. You two are perfect. You have been rotting in this place for so long and you two have tons of potential." He sighs. "I want to give you two a better life."

"Are you sure that this is not a scam?" I ask, out of the blue, still doubting the man. Jin looked mad at me, but it was a bit fake. I guess he wanted something from the guy too.

"Nope." The man smiles. "I swear it's gonna be so much better when you two are with me."

"If you consider," the man hands an envelope. "Here are the tickets."

"I left things too so you two could be ready before your flight." The man stood up and left the apartment. "See you two!"

When he was out of earshot, Jin opened the supposed flight tickets. But there were just three stacks of 50,000 won bills and a note.

"No tickets because I own a plane. The flight is on Saturday this week, at 10am, in section 312, VIP of Incheon Airport. Don't forget to bring snacks as I don't have them on the plane. If they ask you two, just tell them that Ishiwara Manjiro invited you. See you!" Jin reads out. He also saw that it was written on a calling card. It says 'Ishiwara Manjiro, President of Konoharu Industries.'. "Ya, no way."
