"Selene! Hurry up! We're gonna be late for fuck's sake!"

My brother yelled from outside my room, knocking the door nonstop. I hurriedly grabbed my purse and comb my hair before heading to the door, opening it in the process. Napangiti na lang ako nang makita ko ang kapatid kong nakabusangot dahil sa paghihintay sa akin. I should have told him to go ahead para hindi ako matalakan. 

"Sorry!" I smiled sheepishly habang naka-peace sign sa kanya. Inirapan lang ako ng loko at naunang bumaba sa living room, ni-lock ko yung room ko bago ako sumunod sa kanya. We are going to meet up with his future in-laws kaya dapat mas mauuna kami sa venue before the bride to be.

Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit nagkagusto yung babaeng yun sa kuya ko. Napailing na lang ako at dumiretso sa labas kung saan naghihintay si kuya. "Chill ka nga, para ka namang babaeng may dalaw dyan eh," Sabi ko habang hinihintay namin yung driver.

He sighed and turned to me before pinching my cheek. "Kung hindi dahil sa'yo at sa kakulitan mo, I wouldn't know where I would be right now. Sobrang persistent mo talaga, eh 'no?" I just smiled and pinched both of his cheeks in return. I know exactly what he's talking about and to think about it, he should be thanking me dahil nakahanap siya ng katapat niya. 

"Hoy Syl, you should thank me kaya," I grinned as I stretched his cheeks sideways, making him remove his on mine. 

"Kung hindi dahil sa akin, hindi mo mahahanap yang Juliet mo! Ang hirap mo pa naman ma-convince noon!" I let go of him and pumunta sa kotse nang makarating sa tapat namin. He opened the door for me and pinauna akong sumakay. I gave him a slight tap on his arm bago pumasok, then he followed. "Yeah, as if I'm gonna say that," sabi niya habang inayos yung glasses niya. 

I know deep inside of him, he's grateful sa mga pangungulit ko sa kanyang makipag-date sa kaibigan ko na soon to be sister-in-law ko. How lucky are those who find true love sa panahon ngayon. I thought it only happens on fairytales and movies. Napangiti ako ng mapait sa iniisip ko. True love, huh? I don't believe in that thing. Not anymore.

Naglalakad na kami papunta sa VIP room sa isang mamahaling restaurant na pagmamay-ari ng pamilya namin. Nakita ko si Mommy at Daddy kausap ang dalawang waiter. Suddenly, may tumawag kay Kuya Syl, kaya sinabihan niya akong mauna na sa room kasama ang parents namin.
