Killer opened an eyesocket to see the moonlight illuminating the spot him and Cross were cuddling in.

Killer smiled, looking at his mate. He gently pet Cross's head. He hummed softly looking at the moonlight. After a few moments, Killer felt his eyesockets starting to close as sleepiness overcame him. He held his mate close to himself as he fell back into peaceful unconsciousness.
