Y/N turned the hallway lights off and went into her bedroom only to grab a jacket, put some pillows under the blanket, and leave again.

She tip-toed down the stairs and towards the back, patio doors. She didn't know the code to disarm the security system so She couldn't use the front door.

As she snuck through the living room, she noticed that there was light coming from underneath the basement door.  Autiana was down there.  Y/N quickened her pace and opened the unlocked patio doors. Why Autiana had left them unlocked Y/N wasn't sure of, but she had left the window to the guest bedroom which she occupied open a crack just in case Autiana locked the doors while she was gone.

She carefully and quietly slipped through the door and closed it again, just as the door to the basement opened and Autiana emerged.  Y/N dove behind the barbeque and crouched there until Autiana wandered off towards her bedroom.

Y/N left the safely of her hiding spot and jogged to the edge of the yard where she launched herself up over the fence and continued on down the sidewalk. She was lucky that Autiana lived at the edge of the suburbs because right near her house was the Moody Wildlife Reserve. The perfect place for Y/N to go and safely spend the night.

She took a deep breath as she walked, letting the cool night air fill her lungs, refreshing her and bringing her senses to life. It was mostly dark and the remaining light from the sun shone a deep indigo at the bottom of the sky.

Soft shadow encompassed everything that wasn't under the warmth of the streetlights and her shoes scraped tiny pebbles across the smooth concrete and created little crunching noises. The few people that passed by her only nodded in greeting. Leaving the silent night to speak for them.

After a short period of walking, Y/N came up to the reserve. With a running start, she managed to get over the six and a half foot fence, parkour style. Once inside, she walked as far into the dark woods as she could until her watch began beeping, letting him know that it was almost 10 pm.

"About that time again..." she muttered to herself.  She began taking her clothes off and folding them. She stacked them neatly and put them underneath a small bush with her watch and phone.  Then, Y/N sat down in the grass, and waited.  It didn't take long before an all too familiar feeling began to well up in her chest.  "Alrighty, Y/N, time to brace yourself..."

She told herself.  She began to take deep breaths and she pinched his eyes shut.  Then, the feeling that had welled up and filled her chest, zeroed in on her heart before bursting into an agonizing wave of pain that shot through her entire body, knocking her onto her back and causing her to scream.

What ensued was 10 gut-wrenching minutes of Y/N's body rearranging itself and her struggling not to scream too loudly. Her muscles stretching and growing, her bones moving and cracking. She squirmed on the ground and tried to catch Her breath as pain wreaked havoc on her transforming body.

Finally, her body stopped changing and settled into it's new form, leaving Y/N nothing but a sweating, panting heap of fur on the ground, about 3 to 4 times larger than her human form. She lay there for a few moments before her stomach heaved and blood gushed from her mouth, splashing onto the ground.

She gagged for a moment and finally it was done.  She was then able to pull herself up off of the ground and immediately her stomach growled. She began to wander around, in search of food.  Soon, she caught the scent of a young deer and she began to follow it. Her animal instincts kicked in as she approached the doe, dropping to a low crouch and stalking it until she was close enough to pounce.

She leapt for the unsuspecting creature, landing on top of it and quickly ripping its throat out before it had a chance to realize what was happening.  She tasted its sweet blood on her tongue and immediately began to tear into its flesh, relishing in every flavour, every snap of its bones until there was nothing but a broken, bloodied skeleton left.

She padded back to where she had left his things and fell asleep on the ground there. Awoken by the agonizing pain brought on by her transformation back to human form at 5 am. It finished with Y/N vomiting blood again, and so when she had caught his breath he put her clothes back on and headed back to Autiana's house.

When Y/N arrived back at Autiana's place she wasn't sure if Autiana was already awake or not so she climbed up to the window to the guest bedroom using the thankfully sturdy vines that snaked up the side of the house. She made it up easily and decided that she'd sleep for a few hours before going downstairs to greet the day.
