Spencer and I were at the Brew with Aria as she tried to show us a picture on her phone. "Okay, I understand that you're really upset right now, but can you please just look at this?" Aria asks as she shows us her phone.
"Let me see." I say as I take her phone.
"It's a photo of Maya." Aria explains to us. "Yeah, I saw it." Spencer says annoyed. "I found it on her website last night." Aria says as she takes her phone back.
"That's the same stamp that Emily remembers from that night right?" I ask worried. "Yes. Holden really did see her there." Aria says in agreement.
"Yup." Spencer says annoyed.
"Okay, why are you not all go-go gadget about this?" I ask confused. "This is big! This is a real link between Maya and that night!" Aria says in agreement.
"Look. I can't do this anymore, okay?" Spencer says annoyed. "I cannot keep running around looking for clues, I can't spend hours hacking into websites!"
"Okay. You are not the one hacking into websites. It's me." I say as I point to myself.
"Five days ago I literally forgot to apply to college! Do you get that?" Spencer asks frustrated. I roll my eyes at her as they give us our coffees. "Thanks." I say as I take it gratefully.
"First I drive Toby out of town, and now this." Spencer says annoyed.
"It was just the early admissions deadline. You can still get in." Aria says reassuring her. "It's gonna be okay." I say as I take a seat on the couch next to her.
"Upenn has been my dream school since I was eight, guys, and yesterday I found my dream crumpled up in the bottom of a bag underneath my A.P. French and my physics homework. Which by the way? I got a B on, a B!" Spencer rambles frustrated.
"So no, everything's not gonna be okay!" Spencer says annoyed. "I'm dropping the Velma act. From now on, I'm Daphne. Because I have a boyfriend to get back, and I have a college to get into."
"I think you're confusing which Scooby-doo character would have gotten into an Ivy league." Aria says confused.
"And both Velma and Daphne solve crime." I say as I take a sip of my coffee. I sigh as Aria comes over and takes a seat next to me.
I roll my eyes as I see Cece walk up to us. "Morning ladies. This belong to one of you?" Cece asks as she holds up Aria's phone.
"Yeah. That's mine." Aria says as she grabs it from her. "Thanks."
"Sure. Upenn, who's applying?" Cece asks curiously. "Not me, cause I'm going to community college." Spencer says annoyed.
"She just missed the early admissions deadline." I say as I roll my eyes at her. "Hey, you don't need early admissions. You're a Hastings. If I can get in, you can get in." Cece says reassuring her.
