Paradise on earth.

We're the Pogues and our mission this summer is to have a good time, all the time. The Outer Banks, Paradise on Earth. It's the sort of place where you either have two jobs or two houses. Two tribes, one island. First we have Figure Eight, home of the Kooks. Not much to say except that they're all rich, stuck up and get everything handed to them. I live on this side of the island, but i'm not like the rest of people who live there. Then there's me and my friends, the Pogues. I'm never home so i'm usually on The Cut, staying at The Chateau, which is John B's house, who also happens to be my half brother. There's a upside and downside of being a Pogue. The downside is we are ignored and neglected, upside is we are ignored and neglected. Which means we do whatever we want, whenever we want. Let's take a look at my crew.

First up is JJ, my best friend for as long as I can remember, everyone knows he secretly has the biggest crush on me but will never admit it. He is always either high, drunk or doing something stupid. He is the best surfer I know, just don't tell him I said that.

Next we have Kiara, or Kie as we call her. When she's not saving the planet, getting a dolphin tattoo or talking about zodiac signs, she hangs out with us. Even though no one knows why. She's a super hot rich kid who lives on Figure Eight, like me. We are a lot alike in many ways and all of the guys have a thing for us.

Now we have Pope, he has a scholarship and is the smartest person I know. He's basically the brains of the operation. He's always studying hard and working for his dad. He's a little bit of a shy weirdo but we all love him.

Can't forget about John B, our mom left his dad for my dad only shortly after he was born and then had me, but i'll get more into that soon. John B's dad disappeared at sea 9 months ago, looking for a shipwreck. He's now supposed to be living with his Uncle T, but he's in Mississippi building houses so John B's basically a 17 year old kid living in a run down house on his own. He only has us left.

Last we have me, Alex. Alex Campbell. My mom left my dad and I when I was three, then moved to Colorado. We haven't heard from her since. Which i'm not surprised, my dad is kinda an asshole. My dad remarried to my stepmom, Megan and had they my younger sister, Gabbi. Everyone thinks we're a big happy family, but its quite the opposite actually. Don't worry, you'll get to hear all about that.
