The concept of Bedwars was still a weird one to Hermione. She got the grasp of it quite quickly, but it still didn't make a whole bunch of sense. Maybe it was because she wasn't the most familiar with the Minecraft mechanics, but it was something that took Hermione a while to warm up to and understand fully.
It was the pairs third game in, they were on the cyan team and had a basic bed defence - only having a case one layer thick of wool. It was easily breakable, but that was why Sam had gone to the Diamond island whilst he waited for some more iron to generate for End Stone.
Hermione was making the bridge Sam was using more defensive, adding a larger platform to run on and some walls in a way, just so neither of them would make a stupid mistake and fall off. She wasn't the best at the game, so stuff like this would be useful but also allow for Hermione to do something when they are both not in any PVP with another player.
"I placed the End Stone, you want to start trying to fight people?" his eyes glued to the screen, placing each piece with complete intricacy. It was quite expensive until they could possibly consider upgrading the iron forge, then it would regenerate even quicker and at one point possibly even drop other useful items.
"You sure?" the pair had a more pacifist approach to the game initially, which could easily be their downfall. Hermione wasn't against the idea; finding it a fun one actually. However she had liked the tranquility the pair had been experiencing when not attacking other players.
"Why not? Cmon please, just once" Sam asked, Hermione smiling. She couldn't tell why, but the sweet tone laced within his voice was one she couldn't give in to.
It was like she would feel guilty for saying no, because Sam had been nothing but nice to her. And anyways, it would be fun to fail at any sort of combat.
"Only because you're pretty" Hermione smiled, she had pulled up the stream on her phone earlier so she could see where Sam was when they were playing and was not really paying much attention to it to be honest.
But after a small bit of delay, a few seconds, in Sam's small face cam box you could see a blush erupt onto his cheeks. Not a harsh blush, but one which you could still undoubtedly see.
"Wait I need to mute for a few seconds I'll be back" Sam muttered into the mic, before quickly muting. Hermione also muted, just so there wouldn't be echo as she turned up the volume on her phone. She could see Sam was still moving in game and talking and by this point, the delay would've caught up.
"Chat shush, shush be quiet and stop clipping that!" Sam frantically said, before unmuting for Hermione. She quickly turned the volume down on her phone and unmuted also, and she didn't know why but a large grin was evident smile on her face.

"Hermione Abrams" Wilbur spoke down the microphone, somehow after that stream she had ended up in a call with the likes of Wilbur Soot, TommyInnit and Jack Manifold. Hermione hadn't really talked to Jack before, but from what she had seen he was one of the most genuinely funny people she could talk to.
"Wilbur Soot" Hermione replied, before two other people in the call made noises of just pure offence. "Tom Simons, Jack Manifold" she continued, Jack muttering "Thank you, thank you" before letting Wilbur continue.
"I happened to be free for once this evening" Wilbur was talking in short sentences, allowing Hermione to finish them in whatever she wanted.
"That's a first, whenever I offer to get a train to Brighton you're busy" Hermione said, and it was true. For online content creators, they were all busy people. Wilbur especially, but that was because of the existence of his band Lovejoy.
"That doesn't matter, and I ended up watching the stream you were ever so stressed out to be on" Tommy hummed in the mic, a hum of agreement if that's what you called it. Hermione was confused, she didn't know the relevancy to this at all.
"Yeah? I was on Sam's stream, he's a nice person" Hermione was honestly at the point of tiredness where you hit pure delusion, by now she didn't know what was even really going on. She would just rather be asleep by now, maybe it was the looming fear that Tommy was going to be overly hyper that was making her feel like that though.
"And I was there for that little comment you made" Wilbur said and now she knew what was happening. Yes she called Sam pretty, maybe their was a little bit of flirting going on after that and no the word little was not the right one to explain the extent of the flirting.
"And all the flirting which happened after that, thats when I had to drag Jack in because it reached a point to where it was getting too much for me to face on my own" Wilbur side tracked himself for a few seconds, giving Hermione just enough time to say "Yeah but it didn't mean anything"
Wilbur scoffed, then Tommy followed in his footsteps. Although you couldn't take Tommy's seriously, most of the time when he scoffed it was done in a sarcastic way so him acting like it was different wasn't really possible.
"Sure, I've never really talked to you before, you seem lovely by the way it's nice to meet you. But I could even tell" Jack Manifold spoke, Hermione smiling at him saying she was lovely but that smile being eradicated by confusion after.
"You could tell what? I'm sorry but I have no clue what you're implying" Hermione was done with this conversation at this point, nothing she said was serious was it? It was as all 100% done in a joking way for the content.
After a couple seconds of pure silence, Wilbur finally spoke up. It was clear he knew what he wanted to say, he just was trying to figure out how to put it into some simple words.
"That you, from speaking to this person for like two times, have managed to catch feelings for Sam"
