chapter 5

The next morning went by in a flash. Firstly , I went to do my night routine in eagerness for the next day , Excited for the school tour organised specially by Rei takashima.

However , I was not expecting an alarm to ring at five in the morning and wake up the whole neighborhood. I groggily sat up from the single bed and my eyesight was still blurry but I could see a faint shuffling of two people getting out of bed and going to the washroom. Looking at the clock beside me , I thought my brain malfunctioned and plopped back on the bed.

As soon as my back touched the mattress , shouts of my name started to ring in my ears. "five more minutes ..." clearly five minutes was not enough as I do not wake up so early all the time.

I got dragged out of the bed by the feet instantly and It felt like I was in a horror movie for a second. "what the fu-" and looked at whoever was pulling my legs.

I glared intensively at the green haired guy. "apologise to my feet."

He just stared at me , confused.

"I mean what I said I mean. apologise to my feet." his puzzled face made me want to snort but I held it in because I want to make it seem like I was serious that he harassed my feet. " I have no idea what you're saying right now but I will not stoop so low just to apologise to some feet I touched."

I gasped dramatically and hugged my legs together. He just chuckled and walked to the washroom with his uniform , the other guy following him. For the second time , I leaned back onto the bed and drifted off into a deep slumber.

"hello?? earth to muli !! it's already 7.30am." there I see three figures standing in front of my line of sight. I groaned and turned to the other side but one hand held onto shoulders and pulled me back to where the sunlight was.

I immediately sat up from the bed again and this time , I was going to smack the person but before I could even move my arm , I retracted it back in seconds. Rei takashima was standing behind the green haired boy and the miyuki dude was the one who woke me up and not the other dude.

I glared at Miyuki before wiping my face with my hand so I could wake myself up. Entering the washroom , I immediately pinched my nose. The scent of the bathroom smelling like sewage and ... oh god! the dirtiness of the locker room is beyond redemption! 

Toilet rolls were all over the place , the sinks were stained with some kind of brownish gooey colour. I gagged at the place , utterly disgusting. I turned back at them and put my arm out , indicating the amount of dirtiness that was coming from the washroom. Kuramochi and Miyuki just stared blanky at me. Of course they wouldn't know how dirty it is, because their the one who created the mess. 

Rolling my eyes , I explained to them "the washroom is an absolute pigsty, how am I supposed to clean up if this is the kind of environment?" I pouted and looked at Rei's expression. I almost scoffed but held it back by purposely coughing onto my fisted hand. 

"explain boys." Her anime glinted glasses was no joke this time as they kneeled down and apologised to Rei while she brought some more baseballers and asked them to clean it up for me. 

After breakfast was over, me and Sawamura's first ever training was finally happening. Seeing so many competitions from Seido, it's just honestly a dream come true to stand on their field. I stood with the rest of the boys while they introduced themselves for the new year, Seniors and Juniors. I felt a stare at the left side of body and turned my head towards the direction. 

Widened eyes, I made eye contact with sawamura and gave him a confused look. Suddenly, another head appeared. Miyuki? what's he doing with sawamura? Me and miyuki made eye contact and he smirked at me , suddenly I had this urge to punch him in the face. "What's his problem?" I pouted and looked away and before I knew it, It was my turn to introduce myself to the team.

"Next!" The coach shouted. I stood out from the line of boys and saluted, making some of them chuckle. "My name is Wang Muli. Proud daughter of Wang xiaocao. I play left fielder , Nice to meet you." and I went back to my position. 

Everyone just gave me side glances, not even a clap. Even the coach was stunned. Everyone was aiming for the flashiest roles, like pitcher, catcher, first base and so on. But I picked a role that was the least showy. Left fielder was one of the outsider positions. The coach cleared his throat and nodded his head as thanks. 

We continued with the introductions and from the corner of my eye, I saw sawamura sneaking into the line. Bastard. I smirked and decided to not let sawamura get caught. 

" Hey! Sawamura is late for practice!" of course, that annoying voice could be heard from anywhere, Miyuki kazuya just had to bail out on sawamura when he was also the one late. Said boy was lost, very lost. He trusted miyuki that he wouldn't be embarrased on his first day but it seems he's about to be more than that. 

When everyone's attention was on the scolded Sawamura, miyuki sneaked into the line and winked at me, cause I was the only one looking at him. "smart heh" He whispered to me and gave me a cheeky smile. I felt really bad for sawamura but damn this is fun. I chuckled and lightly punched him on his left arm. 

"dude don't be so mean." When the coach was done with sawamura, he pouted while walking to the side of the field, beginning to jog as his punishment. 

The coach dismissed us and we got to start on warmups. "Hey shorty, you better follow if not you will get lost in the crowd." Miyuki pointed his thumb towards the group of first years about to warm up. I rolled my eyes and walked towards them anyways. 

I wouldn't want to stand out and run with Miyuki and Kuramochi. "Hey! I'm offering you to run with us. " glasses boy shouted from behind me. I just chuckled and continued walking. 

Miyuki got flustered when she didn't answer and shouted again, just to be clear with her answer. " is that a yes or no?"

after like , 5+ months I'm back! sorry if this chapter seemed rush , I have no motivation to write at the moment, It's more like I lost complete motivation to write but I really want to continue this book. So hopefully I update this! sorry for the super late update
