"Uhmm, Zylah, I just want to say sorry that I couldn't help you last night with our group project. I feel bad because I did nothing to help you kaya here, take this. Kahit naman sana sa ganyan, makabawi ako." Thea said and gave Zylah the little bookmark that she showed me earlier.
Zylah took the bookmark and giggled. "Don't worry, I understand. Tsaka my bestfriend was there to help me kaya hindi ako nahirapan. And this bookmark is so cute! I love it. Thank you!" Zylah said with hearts in her eyes.
Thea's face was relieved as she saw Zylah's smile. Then she turned to me.
"And before I forget, Araia, thank you din for helping Zylah on our group project. At dahil diyan, here's your free fries!" Thea gave me fries and I gladly accepted it.
"No problem! And thank you!" I answered giggling.
"Hey, random question but, have you guys ever wondered.. What if fictional characters became real?" asked Angel.
I saw the sudden silence of Zy pero mamaya ko na lang siya kakausapin tungkol doon.
"Hay. Kung nangyari yun, sigurado hahanapin ko si Kageyama," we heard Maria from the other table. "Oi, he's mine," Zy stated and glared at her. We all laughed after.
"Zy, cr tayo?" I asked her. She nodded in agreement.
She used a cubicle and I stayed beside the sink. I faced the mirror to fix my hair and my uniform. I washed my hands too. Walang tao ngayon sa cr. It's just the two of us.
Lumabas si Zylah at naghugas din ng kamay.
"The random question of Angel earlier, I don't know but it got me curious and confused," I said while combing my hair with my fingers.
She looked at me. "Me too. But, for you, what if fictional characters became real?" she asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders. "I would be happy, because I will have the chance to meet my favorite characters that I only read in the book. Especially, Collin," I giggled.
She finished washing her hands and dried them. Then she giggled a little.
"I'd feel the same. I mean, I will have the chance to be with Ethan. You know how much I want him to be real, right?" she said and I can feel her sadness. I sighed.
"Don't worry. Kung magiging totoo man sila, wala tayong sasayangin na oras para hanapin sila," I told her that made her laugh.
As soon as we stepped out from the cr, the bell rang kaya bumalik na kami sa room.
