When I say I'm running on coffee and a dry ass bagel. I mean it.
I'm on my way to my everything but lovely job at 9am in the fucking morning.
At least I look hot.
I'm wearing a black lace top, which I'll admit pushes up my boobs a bit. No, a lot. Along with a black pants and blazer to match.

Pulling into Marino INC's staff parking lot I park and say a silent prayer before walking into the building.
I say hello to the secretary who I recognized from my interview; she tells me that Mr. Marino wants to see me in his office.
I exhale and nod thanking her while making my way towards his office.
I knock on the door and I hear a "come in" from the other side.
I step into his office and I stand waiting for instruction.
He is seated behind his desk sorting through papers and signing them at the same time.
"Have a seat Ms. Nelson." he says while still focusing on his papers.
I walk over and sit in one of the two seats in front of the desk.
Mr. Marino has yet to speak to me so I take this time to look around his office. It's all black with white furniture. Numerous shelves hold dozens of awards which all have Mr. Marino's name engraved on them. A book shelf that is neatly placed in the corner of the room holds nothing but vintage books. I continue looking at every little detail in the room, but that is disrupted when I hear Mr. Marino clear his throat.
I meet eyes with the boss himself and I catch him scanning my entire body, specifically my tits.
That's not very 'married man' of you Mr. Marino, I think to myself and chuckle.
He looks away and clears his throat once he realizes I caught him staring.
"Ms. Nelson, I'm kindly asking you to wear more office appropriate clothing, this is a job not a fashion show." he says while looking me directly in the eye.
"Will do, Mr. Marino." I say not wanting to get into the clothing topic because I know for a fact my mouth would cost me my job.
"Good, now let's get started. As my assistant you should be at my beck and call day, night, wind, rain, or snow. I'm a busy man and your basically my right and left hand man or in this case woman. I have a low tolerance level for tardiness so try not to let it happen. Attitude results in immediate termination, I do not have the time nor the day for it. When you hear the phone ring answer it before the second ring and in a polite tone. I should not hear ringing in my ears for more that ten seconds if I'm trying to contact you. I do not condone in office affairs so don't even attempt it. An order is an order, if you refuse to execute that order consider yourself unemployed. You will do your job to the best of your ability and even better with no complaints. Got it?" he says all in one breath without a stutter.
Did he practice that entire speech before I walked in here?
"Yes sir." I reply and in that moment his brown eyes turned to a darker shade filled with an unknown symbolization, that even I couldn't recognize.
He quickly closed his eyes and shook his head as if he was ridding his mind of his thoughts. He opened his eyes and they were now returned to their original color.
I go to ask him if he's ok but he cuts me off and starts speaking again.
"Your office is placed directly across the hall from mine in the case of me needing your assistance. The work that I have for you today has already been emailed to the computer in your office. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask at this moment if not, you're dismissed." he says while turning his attention away from me and back on the papers from earlier.
"No, that'll be all, I'll get to work now." I stand and exit his office closing the door behind me.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I as holding.
"The fuck was his problem?" I scoff while across the hall to my office.
I open the door and my jaw drops.
It's beautiful.

The office has an average sized desk and chair with a small seat in the front. The space is small but the way it's designed makes it look big. I gasp at the sight of the big window that overlooking the city. It's undeniably obvious that Mr. Marino had a hand in designing this office. Hence the dark color colors and their coordination. Overall I thinks it really cute, especially for a small office.
After I finish admiring the office and it's beauty I sit down at my desk and start the work that I've been assigned to. It's simple really. Sorting through emails and sending the important ones to Mr. Marino.
I've been so focused on my work that I didn't even realize Mr. Marino standing in my doorway and I jump being a little surprised.
He says nothing and smirks while walking into my office and taking a seat in one of the chairs placed in front of my desk.
"Busy are we, Ms. Nelson?" he says while looking me directly in the eye.
"I'm still completing the work you gave me so yes, I am busy Mr. Marino" I say sarcastically. I like to work in peace and right now his presence was disrupting that.
"Is that attitude I sense, Ms. Nelson? I would hope not because you and I both now how I feel about it." he says while standing up and leaning on my desk towering over me in my seat.
"I'm simply answering your question, Mr. Marino." I reply with a a sarcastic smile.
"Good, now I came in here to tell you that you're done for the day." he says while standing up straight.
"Ok, I'll see-" before I can answer him he's out the door.
Rude.
I waste no time grabbing my bag and walking out of the building.
Driving home I think about what happened earlier.
Was he trying to intimidate me? Well two can play that game, Mr. Marino.
I pull into my driveway with a playful smirk on my face.
I open my front door and walk into my kitchen to greet my friend for the night.
