- Doyoung -
In the kingdom on the south side of Belary, Cithan, Prince Doyoung was not bothering preparing for his coronation day at all. He had other things on his mind. These days, Doyoung has been feeling alone, not knowing why.
Since Doyoung is not allowed to leave the castle often, he does not have many friends outside the castle and the people who work in his castle are often too busy to spend time with him.
One of the other things that is on his mind is the kingdom of Belary, which he was never told anything about, except for the fact it exists.
On a sunny Monday afternoon, Doyoung went around the castle to ask everyone he ran into about the kingdom of Belary, but no one would tell him anything.
Eventually he decided to go outside to ask if the stable boy knew anything. "Excuse me?" The younger male turned his head as Doyoung tapped his shoulder. "Your royal highness, do you need anything?", Zhong Chenle, the stable boy, asked as he bowed deeply.
"Yes, well, I wanted to ask you something."Doyoung sat down on the small bench next to the stables. Chenle joined him there and curiously looked at Doyoung.
"Do you perhaps know anything about the kingdom of Belary?" Chenle's eyes widened when he heard the question, he immediately turned his head away.
"I'm sorry, but your father, the king, has strictly forbidden me to tell you anything about that kingdom, sir." Chenle's curious and jolly smile faded.
Doyoung already regret asking that, seeing the younger's saddened face. A sudden cold wind flow made Doyoung shiver. "I'm going to go back inside, if you don't mind. You shouldn't stay outside for much longer either. Is it okay if I call you by your first name?"
"Oh, of course! Don't worry about me, sir", Chenle put on a sincere smile and bowed slightly before heading back into the stables.
Prince Doyoung went straight to his room, where he laid down on his bed and took a short nap. Not much later, he was woken by his assistant and butler Taeil for dinner.
It felt like forever until Doyoung finally reached the dining room, where his parents were waiting for him to join them for dinner. "Good evening, my sweetheart Doyoung," his mother said. "Good evening mother."
After eating dinner with his father and mother, Doyoung was lead back to his bedroom by Taeil. "If you need anything, feel free to ring the bell. I'll be there as soon as possible, sir." Taeil bowed once more before leaving Doyoung's room.
Not even 5 minutes later, someone was knocking on the door. "Sir? Are you there?" Doyoung recognized the high-pitched squealing voice and immediately got up to open the door. "Come in", he said as he stepped aside a bit, letting the stable boy in his room.
"I am well aware of the consequences of what I'm about to do, I know I'm not supposed to tell you about Belary, but here's a book I found at the library." Chenle gave Doyoung a old-looking dusty thin book.
"Sir, please don't tell your parents or butler Taeil about this, I'll get kicked out instantly if you do.""Don't worry, of course I won't tell", Doyoung said with an excited smile.
Chenle left the room and Doyoung started reading the book.

Here's chapter two, I'm gonna write in third person from now on.
I am so sorry for not uploading sooner, I kinda lost motivation, but I forced myself to continue this book because I still have the entire storyline in mind and I really like the idea. I've never finished a fanfiction before to be honest, I always end up losing motivation.
Because of that the story might not be extremely long, but I'll make sure to update it sooner or later :)
