"AMARE HURRY UP, TIME TO GO"
Ken Mortuus yelled at his daughter that was taking forever. He was already stressed enough, now she might be late.

"IM COMING" Amare yelled back while hurrying down the stairs to her father. The jingle of all the jewelry she wore was with her. She loved her mix of slightly more traditional robes and all the modern muggle jewelry she could find.

Amare's father had given her a ticket to the quidditch World Cup. He knew how much she loved quidditch and if she missed this she would be eternally upset.

Cedric Diggory who was Amare's best friend (and occasional mom) had also gotten tickets to the cup. When they found out they both had tickets, they freaked, full little girl screaming.

Cedric was a mom friend, to be fair Amare was a trouble child to Cedric. Whenever Amare got in trouble, 65% of the time Cedric would get her out of trouble.

Amare was rushing to collect all her quidditch fan stuff before she left. Her wand was also in her pocket, she was finally able to use it to outside of school. Cedric had previously warned her that he could also use his Therefore jinx her for whatever chaos she caused.

Amare finally got to the fireplace where her father was waiting to send her off. He stuffed a few snacks in her pockets just in case.

"Love you dad, I promise I'll behave, Cedric will keep me in line" Amare said quickly kissing her dads cheek and stepping into the fireplace. Amare loves the floo it reminded her of those muggle things that make you go really fast and upside down, rolling coat she thinks it was called.

"Love you too, sparky. have fun and tell Cedric I said Hello" Ken told Amare who threw down a hand full of floo powder.

Cedric Diggory was waiting for his best friend with his father in the living room.

The green flame burst from the fireplace along with Amare Mortuus landing perfectly.

"Finally I've been waiting" Cedric said throwing his arms up and hugging his best friend.
"I missed you too and yeah yeah I'm sorry I slept too much" Amare said hugging her best friend back. Normally she wouldn't be able to sleep before something so exciting but she gave herself a sleep charm that worked too well.

"We should be heading out you two don't want to keep the Weasleys waiting" Amos hurried out dragging the two teens toward the door.

Because Amare had an earlier birthday than Cedric she had gotten her apparition test early and passed. She had loved apparating but avoided using it in front of Cedric, she knew he was a tiny bit jealous.

Normally Amare would complain about the distance they had to walk but she was simply too happy. Plus this was more time she could bug Cedric.

Despite seeing the two Diggory men many times over the summer she talked as much as physically possible. When she got comfortable with someone it was hard to shut someone up.

Slightly early the trio arrived at the portkey. Amare wasn't the biggest fan of portkeys, she wasn't sure why but they gave her a deep dread feeling.

Amare had convinced Cedric to get in a tree with her and scare the Weasleys, specifically the twins. After a couple of attempts to be properly in the tree, and a lot of laughing from Amare, Cedric got settled. Amare teased him that with all quidditch practices he would at least balance in a tree.

The two finally could hear the Weasleys approach and readied themselves to jump. Amare loved moments like this, as innocent and goody goody Cedric seemed he was also a mini trickster.

Once they heard Amos call Arthur Weasley over they knew it was time. Amare totally hadn't bribed Amos to make sure they went under the tree.

Amos called out to Arthur bringing him over and greeting him setting them in the perfect spot, in front of the tree Amare and Cedric were in.

With the Weasleys in place all that was left was to execute the final part of the plan.

Amare looked to Cedric and mouthed a countdown.

Three

Liftoff

Amare and Cedric both went flying. Amare landed between the George and Fred effectively making them fall and knock into some of the other which caused a slight domino affect. Cedric landed near the trio of Harry, Hermione and Ron causing Harry and Ron to run into each other and Hermione to trip over her own feet and fall.

Amare and Cedric brightly chuckled from the success, the twins started to chase Amare while Cedric helped people up.

Amos was standing next to Arthur clearly trying to keep him close and away from chaos.

"Arthur you know my son Cedric, the girl who is thankfully not mine is Cedric's best friend.
Amare Mortuus"

Now despite Arthur's words he did think of Amare as one of his own.
