Manny POV

I walk up to the lake 'what if I am the only mammoth?'

I sighed, looking down at myself. A leaf fell in the water and I just continue to look at myself "I guess it's just you and me now." I closed my eyes, turning away. Something fell out of the tree, upside down "aaahhh!!!" "Aaahhhh!!"

We both scream and the female mammoth fell from the tree, I close my eyes then slowly open them to her laying on the floor and taking a huge leaf off her head. I look at her, she was so beautiful how her light fur was so different from mine, I smile at her "I knew it. I knew I wasn't the only one." She stood up happily "Me too. Everyone falls out of the tree now and then. They just don't admit it."

"Wait. What?" I question, looking her up and down. She continue with joy in her voice "Some of us have a tough time holding on to branches. I mean it's not like we're bats or something. We don't have wings to keep us up." I look up at the broken branch then back at her "And you were in the tree because...?" "Oh, I was looking for my brothers, they found a child and brought her somewhere else"

I was shocked, their was 3 other mammoths and one was a baby "You mean there's more?" I asked happily

"Sure. - There's lots of us."
"- Where?"

"Everywhere. Under rocks. In holes in the ground. Usually we come out at night so birds don't carry us off."

Manny was about to question her till screaming was heard "help help help!!" 2 opossums ran and hid behind the female mammoth, Sid and Diego ran up beside Manny "Well, shave me down and call me a mole rat. You found another mammoth." Sid said

"Where? Wait a minute! I thought mammoths were extinct!" Everyone pause and stared at her "What are you lookin' at me for?!"

Manny step forward "I dunno. Maybe because you're a mammoth?"

"Me? Don't be ridiculous! I'm not a mammoth! I'm a possum!"

Manny nod "Right. Good one. I'm a newt. [Points to Diego] This is my friend the badger. [Points to Sid] And my other friend the platypus."

"Why've I gotta be the platypus?! Make him the platypus!" Sid says pointing to Diego as he squint his eyes

The opossums jump saying something but it shook the boys up, surprised that they called the mammoth sister.

"Wait..." "what is it Ellie?" Eddie ask
"Where is that cat cub that YOU guys were supposed to watch?"

"Aaaahhh!!!" Branches broke and something gray fell down, Ellie put her trunk out and grabbed it, a small cat hung on Ellie's trunk
( like hang in their but with a cat on mammoths trunk )

I hung on Ellie's trunk, she place me down as I shook myself "Hi Ellie"
"Hi Y/N" she tussles my fur on my head and 3 strangers look at me, the mammoth step forward "I thought she was a mammoth" "no, she's a small saber tooth tiger" crash said

"No she isn't" Diego said, coming up to me "she's a Felis Lunensis, a small wild cat." "A what?" Crash said jumping down beside me.
"A Felis Lunensis but basically a small cat. She'll grow a few inches once she turns a certain age, she looks a few months old" I look at the tiger 'that made sense'

Walking up to him, I started rubbing myself on him and purring "heh hey kid, I'm not your mama..." the tiger says, I walk away and jump on Ellie's back.
They crowd together to say something and A weird looking sloth walk up to us "hi I'm Sid and Manny wants me to ask you if you'd like to escape the flood with us?" "Wha-" the mammoth shockingly didn't know how to answer what Sid said
