CHAPTER SIX
The incident was reported to the police. As soon as I did rinig Rico's boses, Freedom and I came out of the banyo. There were maliit na bruises on his mukha. We both hugged him.
It was so traumatizing for Freedom. Well, I had maraming traumas na, maybe, it won't apekto on me anymore. I'm worried for him.
There were no katawan found in our bahay. Hindi ko know how it happened. But I was still takot. Maybe, if Rico wasn't there, we'd be both dead. I just hope they won't inflict pain with Freedom.
Fast na bumalik ng house sina mommy mula sa out of town shoot. Investigators were sent on the bahay. I bribed Freedom's yaya that she was with us the whole duration of kaganapan or it would be a long trouble for my parents.
"What happened? Oh my God, my baby!" Mommy came rushing towards Freedom.
She made buhat the kid in my lap and kissed him on his noo. Worry was visible on his eyes. "Are you okay? Were you hurt, Freedom?" My eyes were nakatutok lang on them.
I was transfixed on mommy's affection with him. Before, I've been wanting to that to make ganap. At least, she was doing it for Freedom, the pagmamahal and suporta that I've never gotten when I was bata.
"Sana sinama ka namin sa out of town, anak. We should consult a doctor. Are you afraid?" She made kausap Freedom.
"I was, mommy. A man pointed a knife on Justise's neck. I hid in the bathroom."
It was the only oras that they realized I was there. Daddy made tikhim.
"What happened here, Justise?" Daddy asked.
I made kwento what I only intended them to know. I left the parte where Rico was involved. Now, the police were trying to hanap the suspects. They already vanished as we went out of the banyo.
If were not for him, I won't survive. The media is still in the labas, trying to make kuha a scoop of balita from the nakawan that happened. That's the unang motivation of the krimen.
They made tingin - tingin on the bahay for awhile hanggang there was a chance to make pasok thinking no one was around the house.
"It happened because of you." she hissed.
My tainga got heated to Ingrid's paratang. Of course, who else would she put the blame? It's just me, motherfucker. Her worthless anak.
"Yeah, it's my kasalanan. Are you masaya?" I made iling my head.
"Justise," Daddy called my pangalan.
Maybe, it's a warning or whatsoever. Wala akong care. They could hanap my pakialam in the Mariana trench and found my nawawalang care. Annoying. I'm so pagod. I'm so sick of this shit. It's been done for maraming taon.
"Make usap with the cops, their trabaho is done. I gave them reports na." sinabi ko na lang before I make abante towards the stairs.
Fast na bumaba si Freedom kay mommy to follow me. He made hawak my kamay as we make lakad towards the hagdan.
"Justise, are you okay? It's not your fault." His soft boses made me tigil with my quick pace.
"Thank you," I smiled at him. "Magalit man ang world sa akin, it won't matter, 'cause I have you." I took him to his kwarto.
It made me feel that our bond became matatag even more after the incident. No one could understand him more than I am.

"What the hell happened to you?" Reign asked while sipping her kape.
Her coffee taste is so tapang. It's purong kape. Hindi ko know how she handles that, seems fine naman. But I can't 'no. I made tsismis her what happened in the bahay. I didn't tell her about Rico naman. I want to, but for now, I just want to keep it my sarili muna. Like a little dirty sekreto.
