Chapter Four ~ Our First Date

Jade's P.O.V.

I woke up early. It was 8:30 am. I checked my phone if I received any texts. Sure enough there were. I was shocked as I saw 30 messages received. 28 were from my friends while the other two was from Logan. I read Logan's messages first. The first text was all about our date later while the other one was just a "ILY ;) xx" I replied to him with a "I luv you too ;) xx"

Now, it was the time I try to check how on earth I got 28 messages. When I read the first five of 28, a smile formed on my face. I quickly logged on twitter. When I checked my mentions, there it was too, all the congratulations for me and Logan. I went to Logan's profile and it was true. He did tweeted about us. I almost retweeted everything out of my happiness. I logged off twitter and I checked my clock. It was 8:45 "Shoot" I murmured. I have to get ready.

It took me 30 minutes to take a bath. Of course, it was longer than usual cause I really want our first date to be perfect. I picked a floral dress and paired it up with my black uggs. I grabbed a coat in case it was chilly. I didn't tie my hair cause I like the way my curls fall down directly my shoulders. I took one more glance at the clock it was 10:00 am already. I didn't bother to put on make up cause I want to look natural on our first date.

I was going down the stairs when the doorbell rang. "Perfect Timing." I smiled to myself. "You ready? " he said to me as I go down the stairs. "Yep" I replied before saying goodbye to my mom.

"So, hello my girlfriend. What do you wanna do today?" He asked, taking me hand.

"Anything, just spending anything with you is okay for me." I simply said, resting my head on his shoulders.

"How bout biking in the park and then grab some food?" He said, raising one of his eyebrows.

"Sounds good." I said, agreeing.

"The let's go."

-IN THE PARK-

"Oh my gosh. Logan! Hold meeeee! I'm afraid." I yelled while he was trailing off without me. "You know I don't know how to ride a bike." I continued yelling.

"Sorry babe, it's just that you really look good when you're mad." He said, rushing to my side, winking.

I just don't know what to do next so all I did was smile. We sat by the bench in the park. The scenery was beautiful, the park was beautiful. I checked my watch. It was already 1 pm and were still not yet eating. I guess time flies fast.

"So, wanna grab lunch?" I finally ask, feeling my stomach grumbling.

"Sure, so where do you wanna eat?"

"Anything right now. How bout you?"

"How bout we grab hotdogs there by the stand then stay a little while then I fix you something to eat at my house?

"Perfect." I said, heading to the hotdog stand.

"This day was the best." I said while I enter his house.

"You bet it is. How bout a second one tomorrow?" He said, taking off my coat.

"Sounds good to me. Whenever and wherever just with you. I leaned in his face, I could almost hear his heart pumping. He grab me by the waist and started to kiss me. I kissed him back while putting my arms around his neck.

"That was nice." I said, when I couldn't hold it much longer.

"So, now lunch. Why don't you stay here and watch a little tv while I fix something for both of us. Hmm?" He said, opening the tv. I nodded in approval.

The smell of the aroma was killing me. I didn't know he can cook. Well, it really smells good. I just couldn't wait to taste it.

"Hey Jadey, it's done. Lets go, my lady." He said, leading me to the dining table.

"Smells good." I said, wondering my eyes through the dish.

"It also taste good." He said, being a gentleman by helping me sit down.

The meal was good, it was great in fact. We kept on talking while eating. It was just wonderful sitting down with him. Even though we were best friends, there were still a lot of things that he hadn't told me but just revealed it now. The facts were great, but there was one that didn't sound heavenly. Now I know why we need to have dates everyday. it was because in a month, he will be moving.
