Sohyun's health worsens day by day, so her stay in the hospital is getting longer. Taehyung was on a business trip with Seungkwan, so he didn't know much. He doesn't want to leave Sohyun, but he really needs to be there with Seungkwan, and Sohyun also pushed him to go abroad. 

One day, Sohyun opened up a conversation with Joohyun and Wonwoo about her marriage. 

"Eomma! Oppa! What if-- what if we canceled the marriage because I think I'm not staying longer, and I promise that I'll tell everything when Taehyung oppa comes back. '' Joohyun and Wonwoo just looked at each other because it also hurt for them to hear what she was saying. It is not because the marriage will not continue, but her life will not be long. 

"Sweetie, you will live longer. We will do anything. Please don't think about those kinds of things," Joohyun cried. As a mother, it is very difficult for her to look at her daughter like this. 

Wonwoo is keeping her calm. "Eomma". He coded his mother that he would talk to Sohyun, so he sat on the bed in front of Sohyun. 

"Are you sure of your decision Sohyun? Dr. Jung is finding more ways for you--"

"I know oppa, but sooner or later-- we never know if those will make me live longer and I'm also tired." Every day she is undergoing chemotherapy, and it is so painful. "I'm so sick oppa!! To be honest, I can't face Taehyung like this. Oppa, I don't want this. I'm tired, I'm really really tired, Oppa. It hurts." She cried hard. 

In the next few days, Joohyun goes to Kim's residence to tell them that Sohyun wants to cancel the wedding. She supports her daughter's decision, which is why she is doing it even though it is embarrassing to face her best friend, because in only 3 days, Sohyun and Taehyung are about to get married.

"What do you mean, Joohyun?" Eunji asked. She thinks this is the reason why they let Taehyung go on his business trip even though he is getting married soon.

"We want your son to have a brighter future with a different girl because anytime my daughter... she is already suffering. Sooner or later she can't really make it ." Sohyun wants to take a rest because she is already suffering, and as a mother, Joohyun wants to end her daughter's suffering, so she is willing to let her go.

"She is very very sick and there is a high chance that she will --" She bursted in tears.
