The Unexpected

Weird

Suddenly, the tension started building in the room and I feel like I should leave and give them a minute, but that only last of about five milliseconds, then....

"Holy snap!" Alex exclaimed standing up on the bed "then that means...I got allll this to my self!" He shouted jumping on the bed smiling like his crazy.

"Well you stop screaming and get down! And no you can't have my room." Hunter said in a da tone dropping his bag in frustration.

"Plwease hunty plwease" he asked and stopped jumping now on his knees.

I look from him to Hunter smiling at his cuteness to see a disgusted look on Hunter's face.

"Okay fine whatever" he mumbled picking up his bag.

"Yes! Thank you thank you thank you" he said jumping off the bed with opened arms to give Hunter a hug, and to my surprise, he didn't stop him.

"Alright alright get of me" Hunter said still looking disgusted. Then I burst out with laughter, hands on my knees pointing between the both of them.

Alex left up his head from Hunter's shoulder to like me as Hunter stands there clueless as to why I'm laughing.

"Y-you guys" I said talking between laughter. "Are so freak-ing cute" I said still laughing claiming down a bit.

"Wh-at cute? No I- don't do cute" Hunter said and pushed Alex hard on both shoulders but he barley moved.

"Exactly, I don't do... cute" Alex said now fixing his shirt. If I haven't seen what I just saw I would have believed them, they changed their personality very quickly. I stopped laughing, not finding it funny anymore.

Remind me never to call them cute again.

"What? can't take a compliment?"I asked as Alex walks passed me.

"Whatever" he said not even looking at me.

WHAT THE HELL? WHAT JUST HAPPENED?

I turned to look at Hunter to see him picking up two bags from the floor. "Ready?" He asked walking through to the living room.

"Yup" I said popping the p.

"Bye Alex" I said now at the front door looking back at him on the couch.

"Hmmm" was all he said.

God what did I do.

I closed the door and turned to Hunter " I'm sorry, but I missed the part were i did something to upset him" I said pointing back at the door.

"Don't take it personally, he jus- he just has alot of mood swings" he answered.

"Yeah that much  I've seen" I said walking behind him down the stairs then my phone rang.

"Dad?" I answered.

"Where are you? Are you okay?" He rumbled.

"I- I'm on my way home dad, what's wrong?" I asked confused as to why he was acking this way.

"Okay. Stay safe honey, and hurry home."

"Um, ok?" I answered and he hung up.

"What was that?" Hunter asked now putting his bags in his car.

"Oh nothing, just my dad"

"What? He's scared I'll hurt you are something.

"I- I guess? Sh- should he be scared I mean does he have a reason to be scared for- for me?" I stuttered walking to the passengers seat.

I mean he looks scary. I guess my dad has a justified reason to be asking this way. He's tall and very muscular, chocolate skinned with a neck tattoo. I mean...

"No Jasmine, you have no reason to be scared I'll never hurt you." He responded in a very sincere voice that gave me alot of serenity that he'll never do it.

"Okay, that's good, that's great!" I said smiling looking over the car at him, which was very easy for both him and me because he is very tall.

Yup he is that tall.

The drive back home seem shorter. It was quite but this time comfortable. During that drive I thought about all the things that he had told me about his past and that blonde- well, not blonde, Alex back at his apartment with his weird mood swings.

"You remembered" I said looking out the window.

"Hmmm?" he questioned taking out the keys.

"That address"

"Yes I remembered Jasmine, it's not my third time being here."

"Oh I- I forgot" I corrected looking at my hands going to open the door then he chuckled.

"What?" I asked with my hands on the door handle.

"Your just so...cute" he said mocking me from earlier.

"And your annoying" I mumbled getting out of the car walking to the door.

"Hey! Didn't you come to help me?" He asked opening the trunk.

"And if I recall correctly, you took those down three flights of stairs on your own I think you can manage form there to here." I replied pointing to were is standing to then to me, then walked inside.

"How was he? Was he creepy? Was he mean? Is he disgusting? Uhh is he like incest?

"Huh no no no no and Ew no." I said looking at Jasice that just attack me as I walked though the door. " And he'll be staying here so you'll find out on your on your own." I continued, pushing her off my arm.

"Hmm, your right I'll have my take on these judgments" she agreed with here thump in her chin.

"Your weird."

"I second that she is weird and of course I'm not 'incest' that's just...ew...and if I was, she's not hot." Hunter said coming in from behind the door with his bags and whispered the last part to Jasice loud enough for me to hear.

"Excuse me?" I asked with my hand on my heart as if I'm hurt, and watch as they both smiled at me.  "Mom dad I'm in my room! Crying." I mumbled the last part walking up the stairs and I heard them giggle.

I couldn't believe were just meeting this guy...our bother, he'll fit right in with Jasice and I. I thought smiling as I dropped my body on the my bed, and before I knew it, I feel asleep.
