The Grand Hotel at 66 Lakeview Street was a sight for all to see. White, pristine walls covered in smooth paint with no cracks, creases or dents. Colourful linen in every room, with matching curtains that even the most depressed person would like. Thick, soft beds measuring high in a mix of fluff, linen, duvets, pillows, and sheets. That is, all 66 rooms except one... room; room 44. You see room 44 is different. Instead of white walls, thick, grey walls covered in mould, dust and rust that gives even the healthiest person difficulty breathing. Instead of colourful linen and curtains, wine stained curtains stink of rotten cheese. Instead of plush beds, a thin wire bed with the grossest matress, pale with mould and rusty metal shavings. It hadn't been booked since the...accident.

I suppose you're wondering what the accident was. And the truth is..it's extremely traumatic. Now, keep in mind The Grand Hotel has had its fair share of accidents, once a robber robbed little old Mrs Clark, who moved to the hotel from England when she was 35 to escape the war. Now she's deaf, old and brittle; perfect target for robbers. Once Mr Lawson's cat escaped from room 65 and ran rampid along the top floor. Nasty. But this, was different. Someone died in 44. No one knows why or how, expect someone murdered him. Quite a traumatic scene actually, forensics and policemen were all over the hotel for months trying to figure it out. they even booked a few rooms so they could find the killer. Then they disappeared, never to be seen again......

hope you enjoy!
