When I entered the room Alia was laying on the couch looking at my ceiling. She was always mesmerized by this room. Well I don't really blame her. It was a modern blue ,black and white night themed lounge, with only two couches and a nice little table in the middle with a huge TV on the opposite side. What really made the room pop was a beautiful chandelier hanging over the table.  And the ceiling  , uho  it had a blue moon starry night sky print that is beyond amazing. Causing anyone that comes in here to look at it . I guess its safe to say I'm a wiz when it comes to interior designing   

" hey Ali " I greeted her. Snapping her out of her daze

She got up and run straight at me.  Giving me a big hug.

"how are you Tai ?" she asked. Her eyes filled with worry and love.

" am good now, but sit I need to tell you something " I guided her to the couch and told her about everything that happened in the woods  while she sat there listening attentively. I watched as her facial expression changed while I narrated the event to her.

"Tai are you sure you didn't move the root?" she asked me with  a sharp look 

"No Ali I definitely didn't do that.  Besides even if I wanted to I still can't.  Water and fire only remember "

" and the hand,  the scent?  if you didn't recognize it then they aren't from this clan." she brought to light something I hadn't considered.

"the root moved Tai!  It moved!  Roots don't do that on their own. " she continued .

"yeah no kidding " I said laying my head on the arm of chair.

" wait a minute,  are you sure it was a root and not a trap " her eyes widening in realization.

" maybe but what kind of trap looks that real,  am telling you I saw a root and if you are right then whoever made it must be an expert on trees especially since it returned half way into the ground  "  I was now getting frustrated. " and if it was a trap why didn't they take me or kill me. "

" maybe they were afraid your father might see them" I sat back straight next to her. There is only one way to find out and I knew she wouldn't agree. But I still have to try.

" am going out there tonight and I need you to be my look out .  I know it's risky but I need to know what's going on . "

" no !! no no no no there is no way I am letting you go out there where you ended up blacking  out for days !!" she said . panic evident in her voice.

" Ali there is no other choice! " i pleaded with her 

"then talk to your father!  Tell him! Tell him what you are show him what you are. He is your father he will protect you!! " at this point i could see the tears threatening to leave her eyes

"Or he will be the one to kill me " My voice broke. This happens every time we have this talk .I really didn't want to think of my father in such a way. But the truth still stands.

                                                ** mother's background story **

Wolves are in no way supposed to possess such power. In all of history anytime a wolf has been caught with the ability to command an element they were killed . 

only 4 of such wolves ever existed in the last centaury. Each gifted with the ability to command one element. These siblings, At first lived in secret. Protecting each other. Until one of them decided they should be the ones to control the strongest and most powerful clan.  My clan. When they came out of hiding my grandfather decided to unite with other clans to hunt them. Stop them before they took away everything .The other siblings did not agree to this, killing and taking over other clans. but they couldn't leave their oldest brother to fight on his own and possibly die. So they agreed in hopes to protect him.

Kai,  the oldest controlled earth
Ace,  the second controlled water
Flinn , the third controlled Air
And Dian , the youngest and only female . who later became my mother controlled fire.

Dian was only 17 at the time but was well able to protect herself. She volunteered to spy on our clan while her brothers prepared for the attack. Some how she managed to get into the Alpha's house where she worked as a maid. Getting as much information as she could  on our clans strategy . Everything went as planned until her 18th birthday when she found out she was mated to the Alphas second son. Ryan my father.

She left the clan that same night and told her brothers. Kai stood against her, claiming she just wanted to stop them. Ace and Flinn tried to reason with him but he never listened. So Flinn decided to prove him wrong . The next morning he went to my clan to see Alpha Jack . In hope that he would understand that his son's mate is his little sister whom they have been hiding in order to protect. He was well aware of what could go wrong but a wolf only gets one mate and he wouldn't forgive himself if he killed the only man his sister is meant to be with. 

But the minute he stepped into my clans territory, the oldest son and other wolves attacked him.  He tried using his power but was outnumbered and killed on spot.

When ace and Kai heard of this,  my mother was blamed thinking she had asked him to go there . They cut all ties with her and went out for revenge. Many lives were lost. Including my grandfather and his oldest son. Leaving my father to rebuild the clan and stand as alpha. Uncle Ace and Kai were later hunted and killed by other clans. While my mother lived as a Lone Wolf until she was 21 when my  father somehow found her while hunting.  It took quite a lot but he managed to convince her to go back with him. And she never told him the truth. Even after she had me. And to her surprise not only did I inherit her command on fire but I also had my uncle's ability to command water . She helped me control and hide it. And made me promise never to let my father know.

Alia was my mother's right hand though she was really young. she was also the one that helped keep mother's secret. She found out what my mother was during my birth. Shockingly she stood by her even after. And swore to protect me with her last breath.

           

                                                          ****** back to the present *****

" am going out there tonight and there is nothing you or your mate can do to stop me "
With that I walked out. Not giving her a chance to stop me. If am supposed to find answers I have to go out there. It's the only place I can find something. All these years no one had tried to attack me.  I cant stand by and do nothing what if someone figured out what I am. 

An elemental .
