NEVEN'S P.V.O

" Why the hell did you go out there in the first place !"

here we go again.

" Brother am safe . I didn't get hurt , she didn't get hurt, no one got hurt . Besides she never even saw me"

At this point I couldn't think of any more words to calm my brother . once he starts its almost impossible to make him stop. I know what I did was stupid but I just had to see her . I needed to be near her . even for a single moment .

" I don't care whether she is fine or not , hell I don't even care if she had to loose a limb . we have a job to do Neven , do I really need to remind you every single time !" at this point he was yelling at the top of his voice. the veins on his neck and forehead flaunting his rage .

" alright Kai I hear you " I said to him hoping it was enough to drop the topic.

" no you don't , because you said that the last time and the time before that " he took a deep breath .As though he was debating with him self , he paused for a few seconds then knelt down to were I sat and looked me dead in the eyes

" Neven , I need you to be honest with me ,are you just looking for a chance so see this girl , is there anything I need to know ?" he asked with pleading eyes.

"No" yep I just lied right through my teeth. I mean there's no way on this damned earth that am telling money loving revenge seeking Kai that I am mated to the one person he has been waiting his entire life to kill . if not that father died trying to catch her, I would have left this pointless mission years ago.

" good " was all he said to me before he stood and headed straight for the door. then he turned to face me, once again looking me straight in the eyes " Dad's last wish was for us to complete his mission and to avenge his death " from were I sat I could hear him swallow hard before continuing . I knew whatever it is he would say next wasn't easy for him.

"so if you want to prove that dad didn't make a mistake by taking you in, and raising you like his own , when everyone else abandoned you , you'll pull your act together and finally stop with all your madness because if you don't ill have to do it for you " and with that he was out the door.

I know I've been really selfish of late but I didn't think it affected him this much. kai is one of the most annoying "brothers" on the entire planet , but he is still a brother ,and I care for him so much . but to stop seeing her . she is my mate. and kai, he doesn't know the truth . his father took me in only for protection . Not mine but his. and if kai came to know everything i would be at the top of his kill list .

* knock knock*

strange I wasn't expecting anyone in here . And kai sure as hell never knocks

" Enter" before I could even complete the word , the door flew open. Revealing a tall and worry-looking Pepe.

" we have a problem. a big huge problem and you need to fix it ." he said just as he came in.

"Woah what problem and why me?"

" I couldn't give it to her this time. " Oh no

"she told me she couldn't remember anything but I know she dose . Neven , Taireia knows something's up" he continued . his face full of worry.

" If she finds out we are as good as dead and non of your little tricks are going to save us ." he sat on my bed with his hands resting on his his face '

" ok ok calm down Pepe and tell me how exactly did this happen . why didn't you give it to her . I gave you the flower a day before I came there . you knew I would get close to her why the hell weren't you prepared."

" I left with her father , there was an urgent issue and my absence was no were near negotiable. am the Beta I couldn't just say oh hey Alpha let me stay back and protect your daughter even though we have assigned every guard of the house to watch her without sounding like i have an extra motive ." I cant believe this fool

" that is already the perfect excuse . he would just think you are trying to protect the clan and his daughter ."

"oh silly me you are so right i should have thought about this , oh wait I did , that's the reason why the Gama was left at her bed side to watch her every second ." Damn it

"Tyler was there! .that goody two paws is the reason we have wasted so much time ." my blood was now boiling .

"For moons sake he isn't even her mate ! why the hell cant he just stay the hell away from her . she is mi.."

" Unless you want your brother to hear you I suggest you calm down and lower your voice " pepe interrupted .Pulling my shudders to face him before I could finish my sentence .I wasn't even aware of how loud I had become.

when it comes to Tyler its almost impossible to keep my cool. Tyler is the Gama of Taireia's clan . he is the pinnacle of loyalty and honesty and it drives me absolutely crazy . We have been looking for a chance to get him on our side like we did with pepe , but he just wouldn't cave . I had one of my wolves confront him , revealing what she is to him in hopes that he would join us like every other wolf in our army has. little did I know he already knew the truth about her. And being the goody two paws he is , he killed my wolf on spot just to protect her . Since then , his very exitance angers me.

" help me understand something " pepe said while taking a seat on the chair next to him .

" if you want to be near her so much , I mean clearly you care about her. why are you putting so muck effort into her death. she is your mate after all, and I know she is currently the most dangerous of our time and I don't want her alive as much as the next guy , but , planning your own mates death , that's cold .even for a soulless creature like yourself." he said all that with confusion and amusement parked on his face .

" get out " was all i could say I know his just curious , but his words hit a nerve and could feel my claws making their way through my fingers . I needed him out of site before I lost it.

" woah easy there I didn't mean to get even more worked up I was just trying to.. "

" Get out now " the words came out low ,my voice almost a growl. I could smell the fear all over him. he simply lowered. his head and left , a satisfying reaction I have become used to getting each time get angry .But as satisfying as that was , it wasn't enough to calm me down . i need to see her . just for a second .

"am sure a peak through her window wouldn't hurt . " I said to myself , a smirk finding its way to my lips as I garbed my jacket , opened my back door and headed straight for my bike.
