"I'll be right there!" Lily called down the steps to the love of her life.
She smiled to herself, knowing someone cared about her made her light up inside. He made her light up inside.
Whenever she was near him, she got butterflies in her stomach, the good kind, not the nervous kind.
Wren was truly the best thing to ever happen to her.
He was constantly on her mind, she was constantly on his.
Whenever she thought of him - otherwise known as always - she got so happy, her heart gave a happy little da-dunk da-dunk, she never wanted to stop thinking about him.
She was truly in love.
She remembered the night they met perfectly, it was actually her friends mistake.
Her friend Austin was supposed to set her up with one of his guy friends and she would set him up with one of her friends.
She put a lot of time and effort in to it and he forgot.
So that night, just before they were supposed to meet up and he walks in to a nearby café and asks if anyone wanted to go out with his friend Lily.
One guy said sure and that's how Wren and Lily met.
She was furious when she found out but the anger was replaced with a deep love.
She put on an elegant black dress and did her hair.
She walked down the steps and saw her groom-to-be.
He looked handsome in the suit, her heart gave a little flutter.
The sound echoed in her ears, da-dunk da-dunk.
She smiled at him, a smile so wide they could cover Texas with it.
She began to hum. "Hm hm hm hm hm hm hmmmm..."
"Whatcha humming?" Wren asked
"Nothing."
In her mind, a song rang clear.
"I've been awake for a while now, you've got me feeling like a child now. Cause every time I see your bubbly face, I get the tinglies in a silly place..."
Soon she began to sing out loud.
"It starts in my toes, makes me crinkle my nose. Wherever it goes, I always know, that you make me smile, please, stay for a while now. Just take your time, wherever you go."
"What's that about?" Wren smiled
"That's how I feel when I'm around you, that's how true love makes me feel." Lily grinned back.
Wren leaned in, planting a soft kiss on her lips.
"That's how I feel about you, too."
