The crisp morning air fills the lungs of the youngest child of the Sakurai Clan as she expertly roams through the sky while keeping a tight clutch onto the straps of her backpack filled with all her stuff that she'll be needing for her stay in Musutafu. The warm rays of sunshine from the morning sun gently kisses her tanned skin while her dark red hair with dark rose gold tones dances along with the breeze. It was truly a wonderful morning and a perfect time to travel all the way from her hometown and all the way to the city of Musutafu where she'll be staying with her godmother who works for the government hero agency.
Sakurai Mayumi couldn't help but giggle to herself as she passed by a few birds flying by her side along with a few of their little birdlings following behind them. It was such an endearing sight to see that she just couldn't help but enthusiastically wave her hand at them in forms of greetings and was replied with a chorus of giddy chirps from the birds. It was truly adorable that it made her laugh even more as it felt like she was able to understand what they were trying to convey to her. A couple of the little birds even landed on her back and on the top of her head as they began to dance a little choreography before flipping their wings once again to place small pecks onto her cheek which made the girl blush.
She flies alongside them for a couple of moments before she notices that the flock of birds were starting to drift away from her and flying towards the opposite direction to where she's heading. With a sad pout on her rosy lips, she dejectedly waves a quick goodbye towards the new feathered flock of new friends that she has made this morning before going on her merry way to the city where her new life will begin. Her emerald green eyes travel across the beautiful scenery that belongs to the lively Musutafu City of Japan where most heroes reside and build their own agencies to train upcoming heroes while keeping their home city safe from villains.
"Oh, what a wonderful city! I must photograph this view and show it to my family when I get back home." She mumbles to herself before rummaging through her backpack as she partly sticks her tongue out in concentration while her hand wanders inside her bag full of all her stuff. Once her hand reaches the familiar texture and shape that belongs to her beloved polaroid camera that her best friend has gifted her on her birthday which was only a few days ago before her journey. She eagerly begins to capture photos of the view of the city from above the clouds as a souvenir for her family when she visits back from her journey. After a few shots here and there, she was finally satisfied with the pictures that she had taken and continued on with her journey to the city to find the agency where she'll be working and training for.
Spotting a nearly empty park, Mayumi decided to just land there and walk on her feet so that she can ask for directions regarding where the agency is and how to get there. She spots a couple of civilians walking around the green grassy land along with a couple of their pets, seeming like all of them were just having a pleasant day and relaxing at the peaceful vibe that the park has to give. Adjusting the straps of her backpack and grabbing the hair tie wrapped around her left wrist, she quickly ties her hair in a messy ponytail with a gentle smile on her face before continuing to walk her way to where she thinks the agency is placed. She even politely excuses herself to random people to ask a series of questions for direction so that she can get to where she's heading to as soon as possible. Once she receives a specific answer from the citizens that she's talking to, she gracefully and respectfully bows her head in gratitude before going on her merry way.
Mayumi walks down to the corner of the street as she eyes the new people, buildings, vehicles and shops that surrounded her which instantly made her curious on what the new things she can do and learn during her stay in the city. She couldn't help but admire the different varieties of flowers planted in cute little pots displayed on the windows of a flower shop which reminded her of the times she would go deep into the woods surrounding her village with her childhood friends during early morning strolls.
Her stomach also grumbles in hunger and silently begging at her for some delicious snacks upon seeing the freshly baked sweet looking treats and desserts from the window of a pleasing and aesthetic bakery. It also makes her want to go inside and treat herself to a dessert or two while finding her way to the agency. But she knows that there's not enough time for that so she'll just have to wait longer until she gets her hands on those tasty sugary foods.
Upon crossing the busy streets of Musutafu where she was nearly trampled over by the busy and out of patience citizens, she successfully reached the other side of the sidewalk before spotting the building that belongs to the hero government council that her father was talking about before. She smiles in victory as she mentally praises herself for her first accomplishment in the city, she hurries her way and has already flown towards the building out of excitement.
A few of the citizens that she passed and heard her excited laughter, couldn't help but wonder what got the teenage girl all giddy early in the day. But Mayumi didn't care if they judged her for her behavior and just made her way to the entrance of the building.
"Sakurai Mayumi? Is that my lovely goddaughter that I see?" A sultry and vibrant female voice greets her as soon as she enters the building.
With pure curiosity and confusion, Mayumi turns her head all through the entrance lobby of the agency and instantly sees the familiar curvy figure that belongs to her godmother speeding towards her with open arms. She immediately brightens up before speeding towards her hero godmother as she too opens up her arms to greet her with a warm hug. The two ladies tightly embraced one another as they savored the warmth of each other's arms and were both glad to see each other once again.
"You have grown so much since the last time I saw you! You're a beautiful lady now!" The R-rated Hero, Midnight, excitedly gushes as she pinches the cheeks of her goddaughter whom she hasn't seen for what seems to be at least five years now. She was incredibly surprised when the hero council contacted her to look after the daughter of her best friend back when she was still in UA High during her stay in Musutafu for her hero training and studies. Of course, she gladly took the role of being her guardian while she's here since she's been wanting to catch up with her after the times they haven't seen each other.
Kayama truly felt like she was growing old after seeing her goddaughter grow into a fine and beautiful young woman. She couldn't help but feel proud of her like what a mother would feel as she reminded herself to call up Mayumi's mother some time later and express her thoughts regarding the growth of her goddaughter. Now that they're finally together in the city, she will do her best to fulfill the role of being Mayumi's godmother and help her adjust to living in Musutafu from now on.
Excitedly clapping her hands as giggles escape her lips, Kayama quickly drags Mayumi towards the elevators so that they can meet up with the council regarding her training and going to the mall afterwards to do some shopping. "Hurry now, Yumi. We must discuss some quick business plans before we go shopping! I heard that my favorite clothing line is having a sale today."
