The following day after their day off, they were once again off to have another patrol around the city of Musutafu. The team doesn't have a specific mission today which was quite odd to know, since Mayumi and Akio told both Y/N and Daiki about their leader's sudden meeting with the director. They would have thought that maybe the agency was just prepping them up for their upcoming mission but maybe that wasn't the case at all. The four members tried talking to Hide to see if they could know about whatever he and the director talked about during their meeting, but he refused to give any sort of intel and clue. This left them speechless and confused since he has never once left them in the dark regarding whatever meeting he was a part of with the agency and any hero he interacts with.
Y/N, who was the closest to Hide, was merely confused at his reluctance but didn't dare to question it further as she sees that it's not her place to disturb his privacy. All she knows is that she trusts the leader with whatever secret he seems to be hiding and is willing to be patient until he spills the beans. The only thing she can do now is to reassure her friends with the sudden change of Hide's attitude.
Both Akio and Daiki were clearly not bothered with this as they trust him with his decisions. Just like Y/N, they were willing to be patient with whatever secret Hide is hiding from them. Akio, being the big brother of the group, still tried to keep the mellow mood and sweep away the worries that his friends were currently having. He mainly comforted Mayumi who was the most worried for their leader. Daiki, on the other hand, was just glad that they don't have to embark on another mission and are able to take it easy for once without having to worry about accomplishing the assigned mission.
Hide decided to patrol in the northern parts of the city all by himself, claiming that he wanted to be alone with his thoughts for a while. The group respected his decisions of going alone before deciding amongst themselves on where they should patrol for today. But what they didn't know was that the leader was off to another meeting with the agency yet again.
Mayumi took it upon herself to roam around the south of the city and possibly try to interact with the civilians there, in an attempt to clear her mind off Hide's weird behavior. Maybe she'll even visit the lovely old couple that lives in the outskirts of the city and hang out with them for a while. It's been so long since she visited them and hoped that they were doing well.
Akio volunteered to take on the western side of Musutafu and possibly visit his mentor if he has some spare time left before they can get called back in by Hide and the agency. The old man has been sending him tons of letters to come and visit him so that he can possibly upgrade his software and replace some of his old mechanical parts. He desperately wanted to remind his mentor that technology exists now. For someone like his mentor to be so smart about building electronics and gadgets, he sure is forgetful on how his phone works and what texting is. What an old fashioned man he is.
