Gabby's POV
I gulp loudly. It's 10 pm now. How long has he been waiting around for? Suddenly, Annalise jumps onto Tarek and gives him a bone crushing hug. He hugs her back and gives her a small peck on her cheek.
'Tarek, I've missed you so much!' Annalise exclaims.
'I've missed you too my little daredevil.' 'I haven't seen you in like,' she stops abruptly. 'Oh wait hang on,' she mumbles as she counts on her fingers, her eyebrows knit closely together in concentration.
Tarek manages to stifle a laughter as he watches her.
She stops and glares at him. 'Shut up. You know I've never been too good at maths.' She continues to count on her fingers.
'You mean you're absolutely terrible at maths.'
'Whatever! I got it now! It's been like 7 months. What made you decide to come down during Easter? What about the other holidays? October half term, Christmas holiday, February half term? Forgot about us then did you? Eh?'
She then proceeds to hit him with her purse.
Tarek bursts out laughing.
'Damn Annalise! You have not changed one single bit, have you? I thought that you turning 19 might make you a little more mature.' He pokes his tongue out at her and she shows him her middle finger.
'And Annalise I might have not come down to London in a long time but I face time you every week and call you every Wednesday.' He pinches her cheek. 'So don't get moody on me young lady.'They continue their friendly banter as I get more and more agitated when I remember how Tarek had pissed me of earlier on. I push past them and open my front door. I turn around and glare at Annalise who's deep in conversation with Tarek.
Ugh. Never mind. I might as well just leave them to it. I leave the door open, run towards my bedroom and fall flat backwards on to my bed. I'm so tired.
