I wake up and see that it's 8 am. Feeling disorientated I check my phone and see that Annalise had messaged me last night.
She mentions that Tarek and her came in but saw that I had fallen asleep, so she closed all the windows for me and locked the front door behind with the spare key and went out with Tarek. He crashed at hers for the night because she knew we weren't on speaking terms at the moment. I smiled, glad that Annalise used her brain for once.I spent the rest of the day finishing the essay for the course that I recently got into. I'm interested in business but chose to take an alternative route to university as I wanted more hands on experience rather than lectures. Doing this course would allow me to know what it feels like to be in a business environment. I would be surrounded by a network of support and would be able to start making contacts from a young age. I was always in awe of how one simple idea can be transformed into something big - something which could make you thousands of pounds, even millions - and I want to be a part of that. Everyone was quite surprised when I told them I was interested in the business sector. I'm quite shy and never the first one to strike a conversation but I would say I am creative and that is something you need for a career in this field.
I hear a knock on my door and trudge towards it with my extra fluffy slippers on- bloody hell it's April but it's freezing. As soon as I open the door I regret it.
'Hey Gabby.'
'Tarek,' I respond with a nod.
'I missed you,' he breathes out. 'Can I come in?'
