A/N: Surprise! As the title suggests, a little risqué content ahead! And beware - writing this part of the chapter made me cringe on a level of 'anal-without-lube'. Enjoy and suffer.

I was already tucked into bed by the time Elias came back from brushing his teeth, the boy chuckling a little when he saw me bundled up in the blankets right up to my chin. After my coerced stint of exhibitionism in the snow I was still feeling a little cold, even wrapped up in my hoodie and sweatpants under the bedding.

I had been a little mentally vacant since we finished playing our game of truth or dare and finished getting ready for bed. All of us completely exhausted by the time we finished all of our snacks and hot drinks; the toll of the long day was evident on everyone's faces, and the girls' eyes were bleary as they murmured good nights to us before retreating into their room.

Elias, on the other hand, seemed to be a strangely active with pent up energy, letting us go get ready for bed first while he cleaned up our snacks and blankets outside. I had offered to help, but Elias saw how tired and cold I was from our game, just telling me with a smile to get into bed and that he'll come join soon. I had quickly turned around and run to the bedroom, his words somehow worming their way into my heart and making it twist and turn.

Luckily, that solitary slither of time allowed me to try and mentally prepare myself to share a bed with the object of my unreciprocated affections for the second time. I had hoped that my recollection of how that other night I spent in his bed would help bolster my nerves this time around, but things had changed drastically when comparing then and now.

Then, I hadn't realised I was in love with Elias. Now, I was head over heels in love with the soccer captain and didn't know how I would get a wink of sleep when the boy would be lying next to me, straight and unavailable and not in love with me.

I pretended to not be hyper-aware of Elias's every movement as he slowly approached the bed, peeling back the covers with slow, careful movements. It was difficult not to tense up when Elias slipped under our shared blanket, the bed shifting up and down as he settled himself down. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't help but shiver a little when his warmth lapped against me. The slight tremble was enough that Elias seemed to notice it while turning off the lights on the side table, blanketing us in darkness.

I pulled the blankets down around me a bit more, trying to make a little pocket of warmth while also creating a slight wall of blanket between me and Elias. Just being touched by the boy made my body shake and cheeks warm, and that was dangerous. I didn't want my feelings to be exposed, which would definitely make Elias rethink his original thoughts about being okay with sharing a bed with a repressed homo side character.

"Alex, you're still cold from earlier?" Elias asked gently, shoulders brushing against my blanket barrier as he stretched a little, getting comfortable. With each brush and every accidental warm touch I shrank further into the bed, grateful for the darkness to cover my blistering blush.

"Yeah, a bit. It's mainly just my feet, to be honest. The socks did shit all in the snow," I huffed, Elias laughing quietly. We were silent for a moment longer, before I heard the rustle of the bed sheets as the soccer captain shifted in bed again. Suddenly, my blanket wall was crumbled by no other than the main lead's hands, and I gasped when he lifted it over us, rolling into my bubble of coldness and flooding it with his warmth.

"Survival 101, with hypothermia you're supposed to take off your clothes and share body heat," Elias said, shuffling even closer until I could feel his arms press against mine, the blankets falling over us almost like the pillow fort we had made with Tillie, though far more intimate. His words made me gape at him like a fish in the dark, brain combusting as he continued whispering. "You already got naked once today, so I guess just sharing body heat will have to do."
