The New Commander

Chapter 1

Pacific Ocean, 20 JAN 20XX, USS Vestal

A man was instructed to manage a homeport, which was not too far from Hawaii. Coincidentally, the boarded ship headed in that direction, so he boarded alone. "Admiral Nimitz, I want to thank you, for being the commander at HP27. That place, too long after the death of Admiral Bruce Halsey," said the girl on the ship. "There is no need to worry about Vestal. Everything will be alright," said the man. Then, they saw an island on the horizon of the line.

HP27, Dock

As soon as Vestal got off her ship, there were two girls running towards Vestal. Admiral Nimitz, or his full name, Adam G. Nimitz, who wanted to get off the ship, smiled.

"Vestal !!" said a blonde girl. "Finally, the repair ship has arrived!" said the girl. "Sorry for being late. You also know why Hornet," said Vestal. "What about Yorktown?" said a white -haired girl. "I guess, that's all," Hornet said, looking at Vestal reaction. "Vestal, can you call Enterprise to my office later?" Nimitz asked. "All right, admiral!" said Vestal as he watched Nimitz walk towards the Azur Lane 27 office.

Office

Adam was a bit surprised to see his office the size of a meeting room in USAAF. Also, there, a digital desk displaying a map of the Pacific region, and on the wall, there is a digital world map mounted. His desk is near a window that gives a view of the camp area. After hanging his hat on a coat hanger, he took his place in a chair directly facing the door. Then, someone knocked on his office door. After giving permission to enter, Nimitz was shocked to see Belfast and Sheffield entering the office.

"Commander Nimitz?!" said Belfast. She was also a bit surprised to see Nimitz taking over administration at HP27. "Shouldn't you be on the Atlantic, Belfast?" Nimitz asked. "Belfast, do you know this man?" Sheffield asked. "Oh, I'm Admiral Adam G. Nimitz. The new commander in Azur lane HP27," said Nimitz, looking towards Sheffield. "We were directed by the Empire to come here," Belfast said. "What do you know? Admiral Ramsey sometimes doesn't have the right brain," said Nimitz.

"Do you want me to make an appointment between you and the queen for you?" Belfast asked. "There is no need for now, if she wants, she can come and see me," said Nimitz firmly. Then, Enterprise, and Vestal, enter the giant's office. "Ah! Vestal! Coincidentally, I just wanted to call you once. Bell, Sheffield, you two can go," Nimitz said. Later, the two girls left the office. Nimitz looked at Vestal and Enterprise.

"Vestal, I feel like you were mad, you reported to me, how is the Enterprise situation," said Nimitz. "The condition of the ship's flight deck is chaotic with damage. I have told you many times to take care of Enterprise!" said Vestal. "What do you want to say," replied Enterprise, making an unimpressive gesture to Nimitz.

Nimitz realized that she had not been asked to attend. "Vestal, with all the materials in our depot, how long can you fix Enterprise?" Nimitz asked. "In a week, there are two kinds. Why sir?" Vestal asked. "Vestal, I gave you full power, to keep an eye on Enterprise, until you said she was healthy. And to you Enterprise, if you disobey Vestal's orders, you won't go to sea again. Decompose you here. Dismissed," said Nimitz.

Corridor

"Who wants to direct me like that ?!" angry Enterprise. "You don't know Admiral Nimitz, do you? He really behaves like that, just face it," said Vestal who tried to persuade Enterprise. "No, I don't understand why he wants to restrict my freedom," said Enterprise.

Office.

Nimitz just got a call from HQ from New York. "You mean, Siren activity has moved from the Atlantic to the Pacific?" Nimitz asked over the phone. "Please inform me more, sir," said Nimitz, after hearing an explanation from his NYC superiors. "London, come to my office right now," Nimitz said through a microphone connected to a loudspeaker. After 10 minutes of waiting, London came along with a girl that Nimitz, did not want to meet.
