The New Commander

Chapter 2

1 FEB 20XX

Nimitz had just finished devising a strategy to win the battle at Midway. While he was planning, two girls entered his office. They are Hammann and Vestal.

"Sir, I have a report regarding the health of Enterprise and Yorktown," Vestal said. "Continue Vestal," Nimitz said as he read the e-mail he had just received. "Sir, now I think, Enterprise and Yorktown can fight, already sir," Vestal said. "I want to see their health reports first," said Nimitz. Then Vestal handed a piece of the file to Nimitz. Nimitz, read Yorktown and Enterprise health files.

"Vestal, are you sure they're both ready for any operation?" Nimitz asked. "Yes, sir, I'm sure they can both do it," Vestal said proudly. Later, the Hornets and New Jersey entered the office. "Commander, all the preparations have been made, and we are waiting for your order to leave," said Hornet. "Hornet, where are you going?" Hammann asked. "We're going to Midway," Hornet said. "New Jersey, have you chosen your escort ship yet?" Nimitz asked. "It's done commander," New Jersey said.

Among the ships involved in the war in Midway were New Jersey, North Carolina, South Dakota, Hornet, Essex, Ticonderoga, Intrepid, Bunker Hill, Shangri-La, Baltimore, Wichita, Cleveland, Columbia, Montpelier, Denver, Birmingham, Boise, Helena, Honolulu, San Diego, Benson, Fletcher, Allen M. Sumner, Cooper, Eldridge, Morrison, Stanley and Hammann. Nimitz, is now boarding a speedboat to the USS Hornet.

"Hornet, signal the fleet. Let's move," Nimitz said. After the Hornet sent a signal to all the ships, they sailed from HP27 towards Midway. Nimitz looked back at the office he had just left. Then, the Hornet remark Nimitz. "Sir? You look like you're thinking about something, "said Hornet. "It's nothing important Hornet, I'm just imagine something bad might happen," Nimitz replied. Later, a large fleet containing 22 ships of various types sailed to Midway.

Nimitz had just left the camp. And a power struggle began to break out between Lexington and Q. Elizabeth. "Why do you have to administer this camp? It should be administered by me!" said Elizabeth. "Why do people like you want to take over the Union camp on Union's own land! We, the Union, should govern!" Lexington replied. Vestal, Enterprise and Warspite just looked between Elizabeth and Lexington. They just shook their heads as they were arguing. Then, Hood, London and Illustrious as well as Unicorn walked into the giant's office.

"Your Majesty! You cannot rule this camp!" said Hood to settle the quarrel between the two of them. "Why can't I?" Elizabeth asked. Hood was silent, for, Nimitz had ordered him not to allow Elizabeth to take power while he was not in camp. "Because, the commander did not allow you to be the administrator here," replied Hood. Elizabeth and Warspite are shocked by Hood's statement. "Damn you Hood, betray me by working with that useless man !!" Elizabeth was angry.

"Admiral Nimitz, has instructed me that if, Q. Elizabeth tries to administer while she is absent, I will report to Admiral Ramsey," Hood said firmly. Then the office phone rang, Enterprise immediately picked up the phone, it came from Admiral Ramsey. "Hood, Ramsey wants to talk to you," Enterprise said. Hood immediately picked up the phone algae from the Enterprise.

"Mr. Ramsey, is there anything we can do to help?" Hood asked. "I heard, Q. Elizabeth insulted the Commander-in-chief of the Joint Force of the Pacific. So, I want to hear from her own mouth, is it right or wrong what Nimitz said to me," said Ramsey. Hood then handed the phone to Queen Elizabeth, who was now afraid to meet Admiral Charles Vyner Ramsey.

"Hello? Mr. Ramsey?" Elizabeth asked in a polite tone. "Are you crazy Elizabeth?! You accused the chief of the fleet in the Pacific of being a rapist?! You want to try section 45?!!" Ramsey snarled over the phone. "No sir," replied Elizabeth in fear. "Once again I heard a report about you being rude to Nimitz, I let Nimitz, to manage you," said Ramsey, then the call ended.
