The next day Haseena enters the station to find Karishma talking to Billu.
"ama tumko samaj nahi aata....hamko aaj sham se pehle inverter hamare thane mei chahiye...aur woh bhi ekdum first class wala inverter...aaj ke baad iss thane mei kabhi light nahi jaani chahiye...aur agar hamko aaj inverter nahi mila toh tum jaante ho hamko.
"kya ho raha hai yeh sab?" Haseena asked coming towards them.
"Jai Hind MS"
"Jai Hind"
HM- aap subah subah inpe ghussa kyu kar rahi thi?
KS- kuch nahi MS....yeh topa aadmi subah subah dimag ka churan karke rakha hai
Haseena just nodded and left for her cabin
"yeh Karishma Singh hamare liye itna sab kuch kyu kar rahi hai...kahi iske baato mei sacchayi toh nahi hai....nahi Haseena sab log ek jaise hote hai.....yeh bhi baakiyo ki tarah hi hogi"
Haseena was drowned in her thoughts when Karishma came.
"Jai Hind MS" Karishma said bringing her out of her thoughts.
Haseena just nodded. "aapne subah breakfast kiya?"
"haa....aap yeh kyu pooch rahi hai?" Haseena asked being a little confused.
"woh aap hamko dost nahi maanti lekin ham toh kal hi aapko dil se dost maan chuke hai....aur dost ka haal chaal poochna to hamara farz hai" Karishma said with a cute smile to which Haseena just nodded but deep inside she was touched by this small gesture of Karishma.
Karishma was about to leave when Haseena called "KS ab aapka haat kaisa hai?"
KS- aapko bhi hamari fikr hai MS? aap bhi hamko dost maanti hai?
"nahi...aisi baat nahi hai...woh....woh aapko chot hamari wajah se lagi na toh ham iss liye pooch rahe the"
"ohh...ham bilkul teekh hai" and she left the cabin.
"kya ham bhi inko dost maante hai??....nahi dost wost toh kuch hota hi nahi hai....sab ke sab dhokebaaz aur matlabi hote hai" Haseena's brain again won a battle with her heart.
During lunch time Karishma again came to call her for lunch "MS aap aaj bhi lunch karne nahi aayengi?"
"nahi KS...hame HQ jaana hai....ab bhook nahi hai aur agar bhook lagi toh aate waqt kuch kha lenge....lekin aap jaake khao....kal ki tarah ham aaj nahi khilayenge"
Karishma left and sat with others for lunch. After some time Haseena came out and saw the same scene as yesterday. Today before Karishma could decline her lunch, Haseena went near and shoved a spoonful of food into her mouth.
"kahi nahi jaa rahi hai aap....chup chap yahi baith ke khana khao" Haseena ordered and turned to leave but someone held her wrist.
"agar aap chahti hai ki ham yeh khana khaye toh aapko atleast ek nivala toh khana hi padega" Karishma said to her holding her wrist.
"par...." before she could complete Karishma shoved a spoonful of food into her mouth.
"ab aap jab wapas ayengi tab ham saath mei khayenge" Karishma said
"ji nahi....ham wapas aate waqt khana kha lenge....aap khaa lijiye....hame der ho jayegi"
KS- pakka? khana kha logi?
HM- haa
"toh fir teekh hai...ham bhi kha lenge....lekin agar hamko pata chalega ki aapne nahi khaya hai toh ham aapse kabhi baat nahi karenge" Karishma said cutely
Haseena could not help but smile at her cuteness.
SS- lekin KM aapko kaise pata chalega ki MS ne khana khaya hai ki nahi
KS- ham lie detection test karwayenge😎
HM- what!!! ham aapke senior hai😲
KS- ohhoo MS....yeh test aise har kisi pe nahi chalta...aap wapas aajao...phir ham batate hai
Haseena left
PS- waise KM aap lie detection kaise karogi? aapke paas machine hai?
KS- ama Pushpaji...iss keliye hamko machine ki jaroorat nahi hai...ham unke aakho mei dekhkar bata sakte hai
"ohh accha toh aise karengi yeh hamara lie detection...." Haseena who had come back to take her phone thought to herself and went.
Haseena had gone to the same place where she had gone yesterday. While she was walking back to her jeep, she saw a chaat-wala, but she ignored him. Just then she remembered Karishma's words "toh fir teekh hai...ham bhi kha lenge....lekin agar hamko pata chalega ki aapne nahi khaya hai toh ham aapse kabhi baat nahi karenge".
She went to the chaat-wala had had chaat. Later in the evening, she reached the station. She had worn her goggle.
"Jai Hind MS" everyone saluted her
"Jai Hind"
"MS aapko thane ke andar bhi dhoop lagg rahi hai kya?" SS asked seeing her not removing her shades.
"Nahi"
"toh phir aap shades kyu nahi utar rahi hai?"
"woh ham nahi chahte ki koi hamara lie-detection test kare" HM said
Everyone looked at Karishma. "aaplog hamko aise mat dekho....hamko pata hai inhone lunch kiya....rajma chawal khaya hai"
"hamne rajma chawal nahi chaat khaye the" Haseena said removing her goggles.
Karishma gave her a winning smile😉
"bohot hoshiyaar ho aap" Haseena said and moved to her cabin
Later that day technicians had come to set up the inverter
"ama aap logo ko andhera hone se pehle aane ko kaha tha....khair yeh sab chodo aur jaldi se sab set kar do"
T- ham jald hi kar denge mam....lekin kuch der ke liye light chali jayegi
KS- kyaa??? koi baat nahi...jitna jaldi ho sake kaam khatm ho jana chahiye.
KS went to HM's cabin with a file. Haseena was standing near the window. As soon as she reached Haseena lights went off. She knew Haseena would be panicking. She immediately held Haseeena's hand tightly.
"kuch mat karna...please chod do...aayu please bachao" HM began murmuring
"sshhh MS shaant ho jao...koi nahi hai yaha pe....ham hai Karishma Sigh....dekho hamne aapka haat tham liya hai....aap bilkul safe ho....shaant ho jao" KS consoled her holding her hand tightly.
As soon as she heard Karishma's voice she hugged her tightly "please hame chodke mat jaana....please yahi ruko...hame darr lagg rahi hai"
"MS ham yahi hai...kahi nahi jaa rahe hai" Karishma rubbed her back and consoled her.
After some time, lights were back and Haseena calmed down.
"thank you hame support karne ke liye" Haseena said being grateful.
"dost hote hi ek doosre ko support karne keliye hai...ha yeh alag baat hai ki aap hamko dost nahi maanti...par ham toh maante hai....aur aapki har mushkil waqt mai aap hamko apne saath khade hue payenge" Karishma said with a smile and left the cabin leaving Haseena in deep thoughts.
