"Long time no see."
"Excuse me?" I scoffed. Oh sht I didn't mean to say that. "What
are you talking about?"
Nakita kong medyo nagulat rin sya sa sinabi nya. I'm not sure kung nakita ko rin kinabahan sya bc he bit his lip. He thought for a second. He was touching his chin. Nakakaloka. Bakit ang gwapo nya sa angle na yan. I couldn't help but stare at him.
He suddenly smiled apologetic. "It's you right?" Who's me? Nalilito na ko sakanya. Alam nyo kung anong ikinagwapo ng lalaking to ganun din ka-enigmatic ang approach nya. Talking in riddles ba.
Tinaasan ko sya ng kilay. Aba mahirap na magpahalatang may gusto ako sakanya. Baka mamaya mag take advantage sya. Okay let's admit the obvious: I'm not just a typical fangirl here. Being a relative to a member of One Direction and now talking to the vocalist of 5 Seconds of Summer... Ha! Not all girls could have so much luck. Pero may mali pa din. Although gusto kong maghihiyaw at magtitili dito dahil parang kanina lang sa twitter ko lang nakikita ang updates nila ewan ko ba. Ni hindi ko nga rin alam kung bakit napaaga ang uwi ni Niall eh. Ay shit! Kung nandito ang 5SOS ibig sabihin wala si Alex?
"I really don't know what you're talking about." I shook my head gently and looked at Niall na parang kanina lang ay tumatawa ng malakas. "Can I talk to you?"
"Sure." I gestured upstairs to my room. And bago ko pa tuluyang makalimutan na katabi ko si Clyde lumunok sya kaya napatingin ako sakanya.
"Alec." he glanced at his watch. "Party."
I nodded. "I know just give me a minute to talk to the guest of honor. Nakakahiya naman kung bigla na lang natin sila iiwan ng friends niya dito diba." I rolled my eyes. "Pero for the mean time paki tulungan naman sila na ipasok ang mga gamit nila."
Di ko na sya hinintay pang sumagot at tinakbo ko na yung hugdan. Nauna na kasi si Niall sa kuwarto ko.
Ni-lock ko agad yung pinto pagkapasok. Nakita ko syang nililibot ang tingin sa mga dingding na punong-puno ng posters ng mga idol ko. Nandyan ang signed poster ng Boyce Avenue noong nagpunta sila dito sa Pilipinas last Dec 2014; picture namin ng A Rocket To The Moon noong last concert nila bago sila mag disband; malaking poster ng The Cab FM Static tsaka Yellowcard; exclusive na pic namin ni Greyson Chance last 2013; signed poster ng The Vamps last March lang; pic namin ng Owl City Paramore at SWS; signed poster din ng Mayday Parade; tsaka mga pic ni Ed Sheeran Cody Simpson Austin Mahone Lady Gaga Katy Perry Bastille Luke Benward Emma Watson Austin Butler Channing Tatum Logan Lerman Dylan O'Brien Thomas Sangster Justin Timberlake Taylor Swift Sam Smith Magcon Boys at marami pang artist na siguro kung babanggitin ko pang lahat baka mapuno ang limang chapter. Sa bedside table naman naka-roll ang dalawa pang posters. Sa The Scrpit yun tsaka Maroon V balak kong ipa-sign pag attend ko sa concert nila.
Napatingin sakin si Niall na parang nagtataka. "You're not a fan of the lads and us?" I shrugged and walk to my walk in closet. Sinundan nya naman ako. Tinuro ko yung isang cabinet sakanya and smiled. "Open it."
Nang buksan nya yon tumambad sakanya ang sandamakmak na poster at band merch ng 1D & 5SOS. Napanganga sya. Gusto kong tumawa habang kumukuha ng denim shorts and hanging top sa closet para sa party maya-maya.
"Woah." he breathed.
I giggled. "Welcome to my world."
"The lads are lucky you didn't jump on them the moment they crossed the threshold" he smiled at me and bumalik na kami sa kwarto. Nilapag ko sa bed yung damit ko and sat down beside him. I stared down at my feet. "So tell me why are you here?"
"Concert on Saturday Alec. Don't tell me you almost forgot." he accused.
"Of course not" I bit my lip. "But why are you with Luke instead? Where's Harry and the others?" I shifted.
"5SOS will be the opening. And my boys are ariving by the end of the week." I gaze at him expectantly knowing that there's more to it than just that. He already knows who I want to hear.
He sighed seemingly defeated at the moment. "Alex.." his eyes roam everywhere but me. "Alex was.." He sucked in a breath. "Luke asked Alex to stay back in LA. That bastard cheated on you." I saw him clench his fist.
A tear escaped from my eyes and I immediately brushed it looking away. Last year I met Alex Crandall when I was in 1D's concert in Glasgow. I nearly tripped in front of everyone I might have even died from embarrassment. But he caught me. He saved my ass from that huge humiliation. And well it was loved at first sight. He smiled at me and ask if I was alright and I literally drooled over his gorgeous face. He helped me up and even tied my shoelaces. I didn't know he was Niall's childhood friend back then bc he said he really lives in LA and is just there to watch his friend. Niall introduced us to each other. The braces didn't even look dorky on him. It makes him cuter actually. And in that moment I swear I was in love. We dated for months and finally became official. But I had to fly back again to Philippines bc I can't miss any class anymore or else I'll be trasferring to another school. But Alex promised we'll be in touch and I believe him. I had believe everything he had ever said. I even dumped Rex Intal and Jon Lucas even though he was still away. And if not for the news I've read last week I might've punched Niall straight on the face right now. But I saw it too. And it broke my heart.
"Come on Alec speak up. Your silence is killing me."
I finally broke down and I felt Niall's arms wrap around me. He knew how much I loved Alex. He'd warned me before but I didn't listen.
"Shh Alec. It's okay. He's not worth it. I swear I'll beat the crap out of him when I see him again." it's so not Niall to say those things but I appreciate it.
"Niall." I sobbed. "Why is Luke here again?" My curuosity is still killing me and I need to know after all this drama. I felt his arms tensed.
"It's not for me to say."
"Please."
There's a gentle knock on the door and I saw Clyde's head appearing. He nodded at Niall and turned to me. "Sasama ka ba o aalis na ko?"
I stood up.
"Sandali lang promise. Intayin mo ko." I turned my heels and headed to the bathroom.
Once I was inside I cried my heart out again. There's no use of hiding it to my cousins anyway.
