The Consequences

There was a loud popping noise before smoke clouded the room and my glasses sort of like a smoke bomb. Once the smoke cleared I looked around to see if anything happened and then I saw it a pile of robes and in the middle of this pile there was a tall lump with platinum blonde hair sticking out the top.

I leaned down to move the robes so I could investigate further and that's when I saw an unmistakable Draco Malfoy but he was an infant.

I bent down and wrapped him in the robes before carefully lifting him up.

The small child clung to me tightly when Parkinson ran towards and trying to take him out of my arms, let's just say she was less than please.

During all of this I was just waiting to face the wrath if Snape but turns out he left to go locate Dumbledor and McGonagall.

At some point Snape came back and told everyone but me and Draco to leave but of course Hermione, Ron, Blaise and Parkinson stayed.

After a few moments of silence Dumbledor and Mcgongall walked in. After a minute or so of Parkinson bombarding Dumbledor with questions he finally spoke up.

"Alright I can tell you are concerned so I will just say this is not at all permanent and there is a cure but it will take some time to be made so as Mr Malfoy is somewhat facing his punishment Mr Potter it's only fair yoy do to" Dumbledor started "Mr Malfoy will be staying in your care until he is returned to his normal self, of course you will have help from staff and I'm guessing your friends as well but we will update your sleeping quarters to accommodate the two of you" He said "And I hope you know Mr Malfoy was less than pleased with the information of his sons current state and will come visit but due to personal reason he cannot bring him home" He finished before explaining the minor details of how I should care for Draco but luckily he was three and not brought back to the age of a new born.

When I got back to my dorm it had been changed so that I had a room separate from the others and there was a toddler bed and some toys on one side with a few other necessary things and on the other there was a double bed with red sheet a desk and a chest of drawers.

I walked into the room placing Draco on the bed and walking over to the small chest of drawers with green dinosaurs painted on it and pulled out some clothes for Draco to wear.

"Alright could I put these on you Draco" I asked just to make sure I didn't upset the small child, he nodded slowly before I removed the robes and quickly dressed him.

I could tell Malfoy was scared from the sudden change in environment so I picked up Draco and placed him on my hip before making my way over to the toy box and placing him in front of it "Alright Dray pick anyone of these to bring with you before we go downstairs for dinner" I said, he smiled at me happily before reaching in and grabbing a red Griffindor bear with a golden ribbon on its neck. I laughed to myself before lifting him back up and carrying him to the great Hall.

We decided to be an hour early as to avoid the stares of people when I, the chosen one walked in holding the slytherin Prince in my arms.

Dracos friends decided to sit with us since young Draco had his memories of them from when they were younger and he sort of understood why they were older than him with some explaining.

After an hour of awkward silence accompanied by Draco throwing his Teddy at Blaise, people started flooding into the great Hall some people stared but with one threatening look from Parkinson they quickly looked away.

Halfway through dinner Dumbledor stood up and explained to everyone what had happened and in return we got quite alot of glances hear and there followed by quite loud whispers.
