Sting or Natsu?

'Why him? Of course it had to be Sting!' Natsu was filled with anger, he began to kick rocks until his thoughts have filled him with complete anger. 'God damnit, Lucy!! Why'd you chose Sting!? Why him!? Am I just.. not good.. enough..?' Natsu began filling with sadness as well. He began walking into the forest. He walked up to a tree, lit his fist, and punched the tree with all this might causing it to fall.

"Did you hear that?" "Yea, sounds like something in the forest." "I wonder what it is." "Whatever it is, the wizards from Fairy Tail will take care of it." Everyone muttered hearing the tree fall, but no one knew why.

Lucy &' Happy were walking out of the restaurant after paying &' hearing a few words of what the people were saying. Lucy saw no sight of Natsu, she looked at Happy. He nodded &' flew around the town looking for Natsu.

Natsu continued walking deeper inside the forest knocking down another tree. After a while, he was calming down, his thoughts leaving his head.

"Natsu! There you are!" Natsu stopped walking recognizing the voice. He turned around to see his best friend running towards him. "Natsu, why'd you take off like that!? ...You were the one that knocked the trees down, what was that all about!?"

Natsu looked down,"don't worry about it, Lucy."

Lucy looked at him worriedly &' instead of saying anything, she ran up to him &' hugged him as tight as she could. Natsu felt her warmth around him, if he wasn't feeling sadness, he would've smiled. He wrapped his arms around her hugging her tightly as well, '...I love you.. Lucy..' he thought, wishing the moment would never end. Happy arrived flying above both of them.

"Ooooo," Happy was getting ready to tease when Lucy interrupted him. "Be quiet, you damn cat." Lucy let go of Natsu looking up at the blue cat as he flew. Natsu let go as well, trying to show no sadness, he smiled looking up at Happy.

"Let's go back to the guild," suggested Natsu. Lucy looked at him, smiled &' nodded.

The guild wasn't far from where they were, so they got there in no time. The doors swung open, Natsu barging in.

"Hey guys! We're back!" Natsu began to yell.

"Quiet down, flame brain. No need to make an entrance," complained Gray, rolling his eyes at Natsu. He was sitting, Juvia next to him at a table.

"What'd you say to me, ice princess?" Natsu walked up to Gray, picking a fight.

Gray stood up from his seat bumping his forehead on Natsu's. "I said quiet down, flame brain."

"You want to start a fight, popsicle breath?" Natsu showed an angered face.

"Bring it on, squinty eyes," Gray replied tempting Natsu.

"Droopy eyes"

"Flame breath"

"Ice bastard"

Natsu &' Gray continued arguing while Lucy walked in taking a seat next to Levy. Happy had flown to the bar &' back with a fish in his mouth while he sat on the table Lucy was sitting at. Lucy dropped her head down on the table sighing.

"Is everything okay, Lu-chan?" Levy asked as she closed her book &' turned her head to look at Lucy.

"Yea, just tired. &' confused," Lucy admitted keeping her head down on the table.

"What are you confused about? I can help you," Levy offered.

"Thanks, but it's fine. I'll figure it out," Lucy lifted her head looking at Levy.

"You sure, Lu-chan? At least tell me what it is! After all, that's what best friends are for," Levy insisted. She smiled at Lucy, waiting for a response.

"Hm.. alright. Let's go to my apartment since it's quieter than here," Lucy suggested then turned to look at Natsu &' Gray who continued to insult each other.

Levy nodded &' they both stood up walking out of the guild going the direction to Lucy's apartment.

At her apartment, Lucy had explained everything that had been going on with Natsu. She told Levy she was dating Sting &' the way Natsu had been acting about it ever since.

"Ooo, Lu-chan!" Levy shrieked with excitement.

"What??" Lucy looked at her confused.

"Lulu!! Natsu likes you!! It's obvious! He's jealous of Sting!" Levy yelled excitedly.

Lucy continued to be confused &' looked at Levy like if she was crazy. "That can't be true, Natsu doesn't like me that way." Lucy got up from her seat &' grabbed two glasses of water continuing to deny. "We're just friends, Levy-chan. That's it."

Levy was overly excited, "Lulu!! He likes you!! More than a friend!"

Lucy set the two glasses of water on the table sitting back down &' began to think. 'What if it's true? What if that's why he's been acting weird when Sting is mentioned? It would explain what happened at the restaurant. But, no.. he wouldn't. I mean, it's Natsu.'

Levy snapped her fingers in front of Lucy, "Lu-chan. Hello, wake up."

Lucy snapped out of her thoughts &' paid attention to Levy once again, "Huh? Oh, sorry, Levy-chan." She took a sip of the water &' continued once again,"that can't be possible, Levy-chan. I mean, Natsu doesn't seem like the type of person to actually like someone."

"But you changed his feelings, Lu-chan. Don't you see! He really likes you," Levy kept trying to convince Lucy about the facts, but Lucy continued denying.

A knock on the door was heard. Lucy stood up to open the door. As she opened it, she saw Sting &' smiled. Sting walked in seeing Levy at the table &' began to apologize, "oh, sorry. Didn't know you had company, I'll be back later, Lu-"

"It's okay, Sting. I was just leaving," Levy interrupted him standing up from her seat &' walking towards the door, but stopped by Lucy first. "We'll talk later," she smiled as she walked out,"bye Lu-chan."

Lucy shut the door &' while Sting walked up to her &' put his arm on the lower part of her body then pulled her in &' quickly kissed her. Lucy slightly blushed &' smiled.

They had talked for a while about the guilds until they were interrupted by a yell from outside. Lucy walked to the window &' opened it looking down.

"Hey, Lucy! Wanna go fishing with us?" Natsu yelled.

"Um.. I'm a bit bu-" Lucy began, but never finished as she was interrupted by Sting.

"Go fishing with him," Sting said as he smiled &' walked toward the window sticking his head out &' looking down at Natsu. "She'll be right down!" He yelled to Natsu.

Once Natsu saw Sting, his smile faded, but nodded.
