the rest of your life

part 2

you continue your day after the events in the locker room. you knew your team would find out Maya was your mom eventually, but you never accepted that as the reaction it was worse than you imagined. never once did you ask your mom to help you get into the fire academy, station 19, and your medical training. so never would you have thought anyone would say that to you? After your shift, you quickly change not talking to anyone, and head to your car. When you reach your car, you start to cry pouring all your emotions and thoughts of today out. You finally stop crying and drive you don't want to head home instead you head to the hospital, it has been a place you go to calm down. Your mama was there and all her friends who care for you as their own. It used to be the station but when all your moms' friends left, and it became your station that stopped it isn't a place that gives you comfort only sorrow.

You get out of your car and walk into the hospital. You enter through the er a resident walks over to you

Resident: how can I help you

Yn: I am looking for my mom

Resident: what is her name

YN: Dr. Deluca

The resident looks so scared when I said her name

YN: what's wrong

Resident: her brother kinda freaked out

Yn: what happened to Andrea

Resident: he killed a patient then continued CPR drain them of all their blood and when Dr. Deluca found him, she yelled so loud the other side of the hospital could hear her. Guy Dr. Deluca calmed down and walked out of the or and shut down.

You don't even let them finish Telling you to rush up to carinas office in search. You find her in the hall outside of baileys office

YN: cosa é successo ad Andrea [what happened to Andrea?]

Carina: ce l'ha come mio papa

YN: andrea si fará aiutare[andrea will get help]

You both sit down on the floor and wait for baileys final decision. Bailey comes out wwith a sarrow look on her face.

Bailey: he has calmed down and is being sent up to the sych ward, they will diagnose and perscribe him with things to help.

Carina: thank you

You go to see andrew before you get ready to leave. You say goodbye to your mama then head out by the ER. You walk to your car and drive to your house. You walk to the door and it is unlocked. You head in very cautiosly. You walk into your living room to see carmen asleep on the couch and her dog curled up at her feet. She always brought her dog when she was expecting to be at your house for a while. carmen has a golden doodle because she has a minor dog allergy but has wanted a dog her whole life.  

You wake carmen up so you can go to bed, she knew that after what happened at work today you would go home and overthink and just not be able to fall asleep on your own. She gets up and you go to lock the door.

You get to your room and change into night cloth. You are laying in bed when carmen turns to you

Carmen: what happened at the hospital

Yn: how do you know I was at the hospital

Carmen: where else would you go after a bad day

YN: eh, Andrea had a freak out and is in the psych ward so not a great day today

Carmen: tomorrow will be better

YN: ti voglio bene [ I love you]

Carmen: te amo [ I love you]

YN: you could understand me

Carmen: they are similar languages so it is not all that hard to learn

YN: you would do that for me?

Carmen: anything 

You fall asleep inthe arms of the girl you love the most, other than your moms they will alwayscome first. 

☆sorry for the wait. field hockey and school just stared so I am quite busy and ice hockey starts soon
