~***~
Walking into his room with a tray of tea cup in her hands, he was sitting on the cushion beside his bed typing something on the laptop. His dark jet black hair was in complete mess, the sleeves of his white kameez were rolled up to his elbows and black rimmed spectacles rested upon his beautiful proud nose. His thick dark eyebrows were furrowed, nothing new to see here and thin pink lips were pressed into a line.
Itne handsome hain, Allah ka shukar kr ke banda moo hi acha bna leta hai, har waqt jese moo mein kerelay daal kr bethe hotay hain. Gul e Nayab tsked, closing the door behind she put the tray beside him and continued to stare at him with her chin resting on her open palm, she crouched down in front of him.
Haider sighed under his breath, taking his spectacles off he looked at her who still continued to stare at him with her calculating gaze. Her honey brown eyes were scrutinizing him, she seemed to be thinking something deep but Haider knew better, she was probably seeing pigs and cows flying in her head.
"Kya hai?" Haider asked in a bored tone, Gul e Nayab's face fell from her palm and she almost fell face flat but she quickly gained balance.
"Mein toh aap ke chehre pr rishta tay honay wala glow dekh rhi thi, aap toh pehle se bhi ziada handsome ho gy hain Bhaijaan." Gul e Nayab quickly used the buttering trick, but instead Haider's mood spoiled some more.
"Agr koi dhang ki baat nahin kr sakti toh dafa ho jao mere kamre se abhi. Nalayak kahin ki har waqt fazool moo chlati rehti ho, apna niqama dimaag pardhai mein bhi lga liya kro. Apna naak dusron ke kaam ke bejy kitaabon mein atkao gi toh kuch faida bhi ho ga tumhe." Haider took all his pent up frustration and anger on her, this time his tone was way more harsher than before.
Gul e Nayab was looking at him dumbstruck, her mind literally went haywire. She got scolded for nothing? This time she literally did nothing then why would he scold her? Then suddenly her expression became sour and she stood up.
"Bhaijaan, aap kya har waqt mujhe daantay rehte hain? Mein toh bas aap ko aap ki mangni ki mubarak baad dene ay thi. Jayein meine ab aap se baat hi nahin krni. Koi baat hai har waqt mujhe hi ghussa dikhate rehte hain. Pta hai main pardhai mein thodi si acha acha zarra ziada nalayak hun, mgr isska matlab yeh bhi nahin ke aap mujhe daantay hi rahein. Balke meine ab aapke samnay hi nahin aana." She gave him a one last glare like a bunny's and while leaving his room she bumped into his coffee table and kocked the expensive china vase off the table onto the marble floor and it shattered into pieces making everything still around them.
Gul e Nayab stopped and turned her body to look at him, her cheeks were flaming into a deep red. "Mein pardh likh kr jab bardha aadmi ban jaon gi toh aapke paise wapis kr dun gi." Then she stomped out of the room now leaving him dumbstruck.
Maybe he should control his anger. If be was engaged to Gaitee it wasn't Gul e Nayab's fault, that innocent soul did not even know of his true feelings towards her. Haider sighed dejectedly and brushed his hand in his hair, Maybe she was never made for him and it had always been Gaitee. Gaitee. Where did Gaitee come from? Of course she was a very good girl but he didn't want her, she was such a wonderful soul that she deserved proper attention and true love from her husband and that was something Haider would not be able to give her. Because his world revolved around someone else, someone special and close to his heart that no one could ever replace.
But to make that certain person his and only his, he couldn't force her. He couldn't go against his parents' will and marry the girl of his choice, he didn't have the heart to betray the people who raised him and stood with him through every step of his life, his parents especially his Abbu. Now all he had to do was think of Gul e Nayab as just a girl who is his cousin and nothing more and Gaitee is his Fiancee that he had to marry. Gaitee is a wonderful person who is a good match for him, who is compatible for him and matches his criteria. He only had to think of Gaitee now.
