As Carter started to wrestle her pants off when Katie saw him come out of the dark hall with what looked like a rusted metal pipe in his hands. Tears welled up in her un-swollen eye as he closed the space between them. Carter turned just as the pipe struck him on the temple, he fell sideways off the table and crashed to the floor. Katie watched him for a moment to make sure he wasn't moving before returning her gaze. "Katie Bug." Her dad said with a heavy relief in his voice. He reached up and pulled the black tape off her mouth. "Daddy, there's another one!" He nodded, "Big guy?" "Yeah." She said her chin shaking. Martin pulled the utility knife from his pocket and cut the tape on her legs and wrists. "He's not going anywhere." He reassured her. Looking at her bleeding stomach he pointed, "How deep is that?"

Katie winced as she brought her hand close to the oozing wound, "Not deep." Martin handed her the roll of black tape, she pulled a strip off and pressed it against the cut. He nodded and proceeded to use the same black tape to restrain Carter. Martin had finished and backed up by the time Carter came too. His eyes rolled over to Katie confused. That's when Xander started to holler from the dark hallway. Calling out to Carter for help. "What the fuck!" He spewed. "Oh Carter, have you met my dad?" She said pointing at Martin with a smirk. Her dad's cool voice broke the silence, "This is Carter? This is the boyfriend?" He asked pointing at Carter. There was a moment where the uneasy look he had in her dorm returned as he glanced back at Martin. She shrugged, "Nothing to write home about daddy." "I guess I should be happy you didn't take care of him like you did Riley." He said emotionless as he walked into the dark hallway. She could hear dragging from the dark.

"What? What the fuck is he talking about?" Carter demanded with some panic in his voice. Katie crouched beside him and brushed his hair out of his face. "Hmm?" She hummed like she was stupid. Carter jerked away from her, "Like Riley?" Katie smiled with a sick satisfaction, angry killing felt so good, like Jenny and Jake. "He's talking about when I killed Riley. Ran him through with a big ass knife in the kitchen, then I burned his body. Did it all by myself, I didn't realize daddy had so much more experience in this field than I ever imagined." Carter's eyes widened. Martin appeared in the light dragging a now gagged Xander in the room. "Yeah and she was only 17, imagine my surprise!" Carter's eyes shifted from Martin to Katie. "You're both sick." He spat. "Ditto mother fucker!" Martin snapped.

"No!" Carter sputtered, "We were just going to scare her!" Xander started to nod rapidly in agreement. Katie pointed at the strip of black tape on her stomach, "You went a little overboard Carter!" "I did!" He agreed trying to justify it, "I went too far! Come on Katie! You know me!" She tilted her head and looked to her dad before looking back at Carter, "Do I?" The hope drained from his face. "You boys did all the work need to cover our foot prints as well. No one will ever know that you were with Katie last, they will how ever see that I used her tracking app to find her stranded and picked her up. And you two just disappearing, like you wanted her to do." Martin said with some satisfaction before grabbing Carter and lifting him up onto the table with a loud groan.

"You okay daddy?" Katie asked concerned, she'd never heard him make that noise. Martin smiled, "Getting old Katie Bug." He looked down at Carter who was looking up at him. "Now how do you want to do this Katie Bug?" Carter jerked his head to Katie, "Do what?" He demanded. Katie smiled as she pulled a piece of tape from the roll. "Quietly." She said slapping the tape on his mouth much like he had done to her. Carter brought both legs down rapidly making a loud banging sound. Martin grabbed Katie by the arm and pulled her aside. "Did he.." Martin paused, he couldn't bring himself to say it. Katie shook her head, "No." She shifted looking at Xander who was looking at them. "And I guess technically he didn't either." Martin narrowed his eyes at her, "Technically?" "Let's leave it at that dad, he's fucking scum." Martin nodded and dragged Xander over to the tables. "Kid's almost as big as me, I don't think I'm putting him on a table Katie."
