— "You did what, Lillie?!" — (Y/N) stared at her friend, who had just magically appeared into her room as if it was an act of magic. — "I can't believe you would actually steal something, let alone a.... what even is that?!"

— "I... uh... This is nebby." — She replied as she smiled sheepishly.

— "I can't believe it, I can't believe you. What are you even gonna do wi..."— (Y/N) tried to address the situation at hand but was interrupted.

— "nEBBY GET IN THE BAG!" — Lillie screamed as she chased the... Pokémon? Around the house, making a complete mess out of (Y/N)'s neat bedroom. (Y/N) only sighed.

— "Well, what do you plan on doing now?" — (Y/N) asked. Lillie had just run away from home so (Y/N) worried she wouldn't have a place to stay. They had grown really close over the span of 2 years, since (Y/N) had been taking care of Lillie as if she was her own sister.

Lillie stuffed Nebby in the bag and zipped it shut while exhaling violently, probably from the exhaustion of chasing the colourful cloud all around (Y/N)'s place. She pulled a chair from her friend's desk and took a seat in front of her. She looked into her eyes and sighed without turning away. Truth is, she had no idea what she was gonna do.

— "In all honesty, I don't know, (Y/N)." — Lillie then felt the bag move and glared at it, tired of chasing nebby. — "I have no plan, I just....they were abusing it and I knew I had to do something."

(Y/N) understood Lillie more than she could imagine. Lillie didn't know (Y/N) helped with Type: Null's escape because she too, was tired of the Pokémon being abused by the people in Aether paradise. She understood Lillie's reasons as if they were her own and just as she helped Gladion, she was willing to help Lillie as well, after all, he had promised Gladion.

Thinking about her promise, she had taken care of Lillie as well as she could but now, she was out of her mother's house, which meant she was safe. Maybe (Y/N) could go look for Gladion now without worrying too much about his sister. She pondered for a moment and then looked at Lillie with a big grin.

— "What?" —Lillie said, clearly uncomfortable with (Y/N)'s sudden behaviour. — "(Y/N) you're scaring me, what's going on?"

— "What if you stayed here? In my house?" — (Y/N) blurted out once and for all, while looking at Lillie waiting for an answer. — "Professor Kukui's house is not too far from here, you could go there every once in a while, to help him out with research and I'm sure he'd take good care of you. You'd be safe here."

— "Sure but...you only have one bedroom, where would you sleep? I don't want to be an inconvenience for you or..."
—" No inconvenience" — (Y/N) interrupted. — "I'd leave, on my island challenge and stuff, I think I want to travel for a while." — (Y/N) considered telling Lillie about Gladion but decided against it, she didn't know if Gladion wanted his sister to know where he was.

— "Oh, well if you don't mind then I guess that would be great." — Lillie smiled shyly.

— "Alright get settled in, I'll go pack my things. Maybe do some shopping if you'd like, it doesn't seem like you brought a lot in that bag with you."

— "Yeah, you're right, I should probably buy some essential things." — Lillie laughed, realising how badly she planned the whole escaping deal.

...

(Y/N) had packed her bags and said goodbye to Lillie. She gave her the keys to her place and explained to her where everything was. She reminded her friend she could always call her whenever she needed something, and they parted ways with a hug.
