Time For Change Pt.1

A few months past and Vince was near his due date but he had to go to a interview with the band. He gets dressed into nice clothes and feels his stomach tighten hard. He rubs his belly and doesn't like the feeling. He decides to ignore it because the doctor did say that his stomach will do that until he has the baby.

Mick stands there and does his hair noticing Vince was uncomfortable "you sure you want to go to this?"

Vince nods and walks to Mick "I'm sure honey. I already said yes. Now let's go" he goes to put on his shoes and hears a knock on the door. He walks over and opens it "ah hi guys!"

Nikki smiles "how are you feeling? Your tummy looks low today"

He laughs "oh I'm feeling okay. Maybe having that dumb stomach tightness but the doctor said it will keep happening until I go into labor"

Tommy touches Vince's belly and smiles happily "hi baby" he talks to the baby and smiles happily "Uncle Tommy can't wait to meet you"

Vince smiles happily and looks at them "he or she can't wait to meet both of you. His or her uncles are gonna spoiled the heck out of them" he feels his belly tighten again and rubs it

Tommy looks at Vince and smiles "hopefully this baby holds off for a while"

He chuckles "hopefully another week" he feels better and looks at Mick "ready to go honey?"

Mick nods and gets his shoes on "yes darling. Let's go"

They get to the building and Vince doesn't feel right but keeps quiet about it because this interview was important. He sits there and watches the others get some drinks. He smiles when Mick brings him a water

Mick smiles "here babe" he gives Vince the water bottle

He smiles "thanks. He feels pain spread throughout his body but ignore more of it. He sips the water from the glass and feels shaky

Mick looks at him and doesn't like how he's shaky so he's worried "just let me know when it's time."

He nods and smiles "thanks honey" he gets up and hears the interview guy call for them. He walks with the guys into the other room and sits down. He listens to the host of the interview and leans his head on Mick's shoulder

Mick smiles happily and watches Nikki answer questions. He holds Vince's hand and rubs it

Vince doesn't feel good after 15 minutes into the interview and feels contractions. He doesn't listen to anyone including the host and squeezes his eyes tightly shut in pain

Mick looks at Vince and feels worried soon telling the host to stop the show.

Nikki gets up when the show isn't live anymore and goes to Vince "is it time to have a baby?"

Vince shakes "yes I think. Shit the pain is horrible"

Nikki talks to the host and apologizes for needing to cancel the rest of the show.

Vince gets up with help and heads out to the car. Tommy helps him "baby time!" He gets overly excited and gets into the car

Nikki and Mick hurry to the car and he start to drive to his and Vince's house. They get there soon and starts to help Vince out.

Vince gets out of the car slowly and gasps when he feels his water breaks. He looks down and sees water all over the ground "this is it"

Mick comes over and looks at Vince "let's get you into the house"

They get into the house and Vince zones out for a while.

Mick keeps checking on Vince and has Tommy check his dilation for how close the baby. Tommy jokes around that he doesn't know what he is doing but knows what he's actually doing. He learned quite a bit of this since he delivered someone else's baby before. He checks and tells Mick that Vince was 2 centimeters.

Vince comes around after an hour and opens his eyes soon seeing that Mick was holding him

Mick sees Vince open his eyes and rubs his back gently "hey you okay?" He says in a whisper

Vince nods "yeah. Just was resting and concentrating on contractions" he sits up and feels how sore his back was "shit that hurts right now. Wow my back is killing me"

Mick nods "it will keep happening till our rainbow baby is here. Ugh I'm so excited to be a dad for the first time!"

After a while, they are alone in their bedroom. He sees Mick close their door "where are they?"

Mick smirks "they went to eat food for all of us" he goes to his husband

Vince looks at him and feels uncomfortable "okay. I want to walk for a while Mick"

He helps him up and rubs his tummy "you okay?"

Vince nods "my back hurts and I'm uncomfortable" he gets up and walks around the house for a while. He stands in the backyard and rubs his belly while enjoying fresh air.

He sits there and watches him for a while "I'm so nervous about being a dad"

Vince looks at Mick "why?"

He laughs "just scared that our kids wouldn't like me"

Vince smiles happily "our kids are gonna have the most fun and amazing dad ever. You were the one that got the baby to kick and move without me even doing it. Our baby is gonna love you a lot"

He smiles happily and walks to his husband soon holding him in his arms "very true"

Vince cuddles Mick and relaxes "I love you so much and you're so cuddly"

He laughs loudly and kisses him "I'm always here throughout everything. Anything you need, I'm here"

After they all eat, Vince feels uncomfortable "Mick" he feels his uterus tighten hard

Mick gets up and goes to him "I'm here baby. What do you need?"

He cries softly and groans in pain "something to help move along this labor but will relax me"

Tommy thinks "what about a warm birth? Of course you aren't delivering there but I checked you before we ate and you were three centimeters"

Vince thinks about it and nods "that sounds nice."

Tommy goes get the tub ready and comes back after ten minutes "all set"

Mick helps Vince to the bathroom and gets him undressed soon in the tub.

He relaxes and leans against the tub "that's nice"

While Vince is relaxing in the tub, Tommy and Nikki get everything ready in the bedroom. Mick starts walking to the bathroom with water and gives the glass to Vince

Vince takes the glass and smiles "thanks" he sips the water and looks at Mick.

Tommy walks in and smiles happily "everything is ready for when the baby is born"

Vince nods and smiles "thanks" he gets a contraction and groans softly. He feels better after a minute and shakes from the pain "it's gonna get worse Huh?"

Tommy nods "yes. It's gonna get worse and worse until the baby is out"
