Nikki gets home soon and hurries upstairs. He goes to Tommy "Hey I'm home! I'm sorry"
Tommy smiles happily "no it's okay. The doctor is watching my contractions and making sure if my dilation is gonna process more or not to get my uterus to contract."
Nikki sits next to him and relaxes with him. He rubs his tummy gently and kisses him
Tommy smiles and kisses Nikki back "love you
After four hours, Tommy still doesn't feel contractions and watches the doctor check him
The doctor looks at him "still two centimeters and if you were actually in labor the contractions would've came back by now. This pre labor could last a few days to a few weeks but your uterus is getting there for the baby to come"
Tommy nods and sighs "thanks doctor. We will update you when things take their toll" he rubs his belly and feels tired
The doctor leaves after a while and Nikki lets Tommy sleep. He goes outside to smoke and calls Vince and Mick "Hey"
Vince smiles "how is he doing?" He feeds Felix during the time and relaxes
He sits down and takes a drag from his cigarette "He's doing okay. The doctor was with us for four hours and he said that Tommy's uterus isn't quite ready yet. It could last a few days or weeks due to his body not being ready right away. He's sleeping for now. No more contractions and he's still two centimeters. He hasn't dilated for a few hours so I'm letting him rest and we will see how things go in a few hours to see if he's ready to have the baby or not yet"
Mick cleans the changing table and looks up at Vince
After waiting for three weeks, Tommy gets impatient to have the baby. He watches Mick, Vince and Nikki play a card game together. He sits on the couch and watches a movie while eating popcorn. He goes to get up and walks to the bathroom. He feels like he needs to pee and hurries to the toilet. He goes to the bathroom and walks out of the bathroom.
Nikki looks at Tommy and smiles "Hey how are you doing?"
Tommy rubs his belly "tired and sore but I'm okay" he sighs when his pants get wet "shit I peed myself once again" he goes to change and comes back soon.
Nikki hears it start to rain and thunder out "oh there's the storm we were suppose to get" he sees Felix in his swing sleeping "I can't wait to see my baby girl soon" he smiles and plays his card
He chills on the couch more and feels contractions soon looking at Nikki "I think you're gonna meet her soon actually" he thinks he's in labor
Nikki gets up in surprise "Now?!" He looks at the others guys and hurries to him
Mick looks at Tommy and smiles "possibly baby time"
Nikki does what he was taught and goes to clean his hands. He comes back to him and pulls down his pants soon checking him "baby time! Well we have hours to go but you're three centimeters now" he feels his belly "yeah she's getting low. I'm so excited!!!!!"
Tommy ends up moving upstairs and sits on the yoga ball. He bounces on it for a while and rubs his tummy gently. He breathes through contractions and looks up when the others come into the room with Nikki
Nikki looks at Tommy "you okay baby?"
He nods "yeah for now. I'm excited to meet her in a few hours and name her"
Vince stands there and smiles "it's gonna get worse and worse bud"
He laughs "say that again. The contractions don't hurt much right now but I know it's gonna get worse and worse in a few hours until she's born"
Mick holds Felix "do you guys want us to stay or go home? Up to you"
Nikki thinks "you guys can do whatever. We will be okay during the delivery because I'm taught."
Mick and Vince decided to leave after an hour to give Nikki and Tommy time alone
Tommy kneels and leans against the ball. He gets contractions and groans softly "mmmm"
Nikki comes over and rubs Tommy's back "you okay?"
He nods and takes off his pants "I feel hot right now. Shit"
Nikki turns on the A/C and gives him some water "you're doing amazing. I'm proud of you babe"
He smiles happily and drinks some water "I can't wait to meet her. I'm so excited"
Nikki checks him and laughs "four centimeters baby. You're doing amazing. She will be here soon"
He relaxes and nods "shit we're gonna have a baby in a few hours"
After a few hours of waiting, Tommy lays in bed and sleeps. He was only five centimeters during the time and he felt like it was gonna be days before he delivers her.
Nikki sleeps next to Tommy and keeps his hand on his belly. He grew impatient because he just wanted to meet their daughter and hold her.
They both sleep till six in the morning and Tommy wakes up to contractions "owwww!!" He feels so much pain and pressure while waiting
Nikki checks "okay easy babe. It's just the sack around her. You're still 5 centimeters which is crazy"
He jumps when the sack breaks and sees liquids go everywhere "shit! I thought my water broke before labor!"
Nikki nods "it was the first half babe. The second part broke" he goes to call the doctor to let him know that labor was taking forever but the baby is on the way. He hangs up soon and rubs his belly "you're doing amazing baby"
Tommy relaxes and breathes "I hated that pressure a lot but thank god it broke fast. Hopefully that moves labor along so I can deliver her in the next few hours" he sits up and drinks some water
