My eyes slowly began to peel open before I noticed I wasn't room. I sat up straight away looking at my surroundings trying to figure out where I was, JAXON. He wasn't there....well yet anyway. I slid myself off the bed and wandered around trying to find my bag so I could leave straight away. The door slowly crept open as I watched Jaxon walk through the room. I stood frozen, I shouldn't be here. "Sorry, Grumps. Didn't mean to wake you" his voice was still quiet, I'm guessing he's not long been awake either.
"We didn't?" I raised my eyebrows hoping I made the intention of my question obvious.
"No. You just went to sleep" He shook his head with a small subtle grin as he walked over and grabbed a shirt from his dresser. And at that moment I realized he q1was only wrapped in a towel. Holy shit. I pulled my eyes away trying my hardest not to stare but holy shit the boy as abs. I could feel the smirk pulling at his lips and I wasn't even looking at him to figure that out, I watched him pull a shirt over his head before announcing something I've never wanted to hear. "Oh and grumps. You snore, bad." Jaxon screwed his nose up almost in disgust. So this means...wait no. We didn't share a bed. I wouldn't do that. Neither would he. Right?
"Wait...so where did you sleep?" I spun to him, my curiosity springing. He cocked his head with an amused smile, the answer I didn't want was probably coming up. He pulled out a finger and pointed towards the bed, just beside where I woke up. Double fuck.

It didn't take long for the conversation to die, more like it didn't take him long to get bored and leave. But hey ho, once he left me alone in his room I checked for any of my things yet again before leaving and shutting the door quietly. I walked my way down the hall guessing it was my way out, I pulled my jacket over my shoulders trying my hardest to disguise the fact I was wearing someone else's shirt. I could hear muffled voices down the hall I was walking down, I quickly turned around and walked myself down another way. Finding myself in the kitchen...great. I pondered around the door for a while waiting until I thought it was safe to leave and take myself back down the hall so I could leave. but a change of plans, a "hey" a very excited and happy tone called after me. I took a deep breath before turning around and facing the sound.
"Hi?" My voice flew out in an accidental tone, the woman stood in front of me with dark brown hair and dark eyes following my every move. I'm guessing she works here, or she is the famous Mrs Brooks. but god I fucking beg it's not.
"you're a new face" She spoke with a small welcoming smile, walking into the kitchen gesturing a hand for me to follow. "so, you're here with Chad?" She poured a coffee for herself and looked up to me yet again "coffee?"
"ahh...no thanks" I shook my head leaning against the counter. "and god...no." My reply was a little more blunt than intended. "well...I was. But then, I ended up staying with Jaxon as things didn't go as planned" shit. that sounds worse than it is? but what am I supposed to say? Heya, your son forced himself on me last night, and your other son had to fight him off of me. yeah, no chance.
Her eyes widened. she's taking it the way I thought she would... "you stayed with Jaxon?" Her voice sounded more surprised or even confused I couldn't tell. I nodded after her not quite sure what she wanted me to reply with. "In his bed?" She cocked her head to the side. what am I actually supposed to say? is this dropping Jaxon in the dirt...well she seems pretty chill with the idea of chad having me stay so why not him? I nodded yet again, as I raised my hand pulling my fingers through my hair, stopping every now and then to separate the knots. "Oh...wow. That's a first"
